Perhaps, as was discussed in prior threads about sponsership deals.. we will have a Chinese sponser who will be willing to assist us with some of our arena issues.

A weak dollar doesn't hurt Harley unless they're importing a lot of raw materials and not exporting anything, but I don't know if that's the case. Certainly it's easier to export goods when your currency is weaker, so given the dollar has has fallen a bit against the Yuan (in spite of the pseudo peg) Harley should have an easier time selling their motorcycles in China and other markets. Looks like sales were down in the US and up everywhere else last year.
Whether they get bitten on the other end is a different question, but they did open their first major dealership in China in '06. I imagine they view that as a big growth market, even though there are restrictions on where you can ride big bikes like Harleys.

The sponsorship is nice, but we shouldn't have any misconceptions here that this will allow Kohl to now take on Boozer's contract as an example.
I can't see Harley paying a whole lot of money for Bango to ride the motorcyle and for the hoop troop guys to wear Harley shirts. This is good for the Bucks and helpful, but maybe this pays for one game of Michael Redd's per game payout (i.e. $175,000) over the course of a 41-game home season. Maybe the payout is much bigger depending on how much signage they take, but I'm assuming this is just for the Harley ride by Bango.
Of course I'm completely guessing on the cost of something like this but it isn't an amount that suddenly makes us players in FA.

"Reving it up" w/ the Harley pregame and in the 4th quarter is alot better than the lame siren Bango used to have. I was a big fan at the Yi-Yao game. It actually go the fans to stand up because the siren and the signs or just the signs was embarrassing. I felt terrible for them Hoop Troop guys and Bango when they did that. No one ever did anything haha.
