Great to see Laimbeer included in the NBA some way.
*cough* Just wish it was as the Pistons head coach *cough*

Team Detroit won last year because one of the team, iirc, got disqualified for shooting out of order. Let's get a legit win this year.

Billups, Shock coach Bill Laimbeer and a Shock player to be chosen will defend Detroit's title in the "Shooting Stars" competition at All-Star weekend. Swin Cash helped the squad win last year's title.

Team Detroit will defend its Shooting Stars title at this year's All-Star weekend in New Orleans on Feb. 16. Pistons All-Star guard Chauncey Billups will be joined by Pistons legend and Shock coach Bill Laimbeer and Shock forward Swin Cash as they defend the title they won at last year's All-Star weekend. Team Detroit will face teams from Chicago, Phoenix and San Antonio at this year's event. The event can be seen on TNT on Feb. 16 on the same night as the dunk and three-point shooting contests.

The Shooting Stars event consists of the team of three to hit shots from six different locations on the court, the last usually being a half court shot.

Billups, Shock coach Bill Laimbeer and Swin Cash will defend their title in the All-Star Shooting Stars competition Saturday, Feb. 16, the same night as the 3-point contest.

Each three-person team must make six shots of increasing difficulty. Team Detroit won with a time of 50.5 seconds last year. It's somewhat surprising that Laimbeer and Cash agreed to do the contest, since they had a falling out last season. Cash is an unrestricted free agent and is not expected to re-sign with the Shock.

Chicago, San Antonio and Phoenix will also be respresented in the contest.

One rule change I'd like to see in this event is to allow the old-timers to wear their warm ups instead of a team jersey.

Last year Laimbeer had a bigger rack than Swin Cash. I don't imagine it's gotten any smaller a year later. :x
The more clothes Laimbeer has on the better.
