What do you do when Raptors ball is NOT on?

Post#1 » by Illuminati » Fri Feb 8, 2008 10:51 pm

I miss watching the Raptors, I enjoy watching even when they lose. Even though it's a L they're still an entertaining team to watch (I don't enjoy them losing but the game itself is fun to watch) plus the board tirades are fun.

How about you? I hate watching the Cavs. Except in the 4th qtr of course.

During Raps games i watch them with my 19 month old son, and my wife if she's not working. We all wear jerseys for good luck. My son wears #4, I wear #7 and my wife wears #11. She's been pretty understanding with my raps fandom/obsession. She'll watch all the gaems and even the post game. She'll put up with vacations to the big smoke for raps games. We are even planning our anniversary trip to coincide with at raps playoff game. She's less understanding about real GM though. Our computer is in another room so she hates it when after the game if I'm on realgm instead of spending time with her and the little guy. But all well, no ones perfects.

EDIT: and yeah,m OP didn't make much sense. Someone tell him we win games now.

I work.

Games usually start at 4 PM since I am on the West Coast.

So I DVR the game, then usually watch it after my daughter has gone to bed around 7:30 or so.

The nice thing is that I can watch the whole game in about an hour.

The bad thing is that doing so has basically made it intolerable for me to watch live games.

When the Raps play I climb to the top of my roof and manouver the old antenna I got illegally. I slide down the roof, cllimb down and go inside and check the reception. If it's fuzzy, I climb the roof again, rinse and repeat.

Minus the timeshifting and daughter, that's essentially me too. I usually have things to do in the evening every day, so I rarely watch a game before 10:30pm. West coast games I'll usually watch the next morning. You just have to train yourself not to listen to radio/look at outside sources to keep the immediate nature of not knowing what will happen. I'm very good at it now.

The earliest I watch a regular season game is 8:30 - so I can finish around when they do. :D

The only games I watch at the proper time are ones I attend, or the odd one with friends... or of course playoffs.
Raptors Season Ticketholder since the 2000 playoffs, through all the lows... build to the championship high... to Tampa and back again.
RIP The Hater - we miss you.

RealGM needs to fix this problem. What's the point of an ignore list if RealGM forgets to log me in every time I visit this site :nonono:

When Raptors ball is not on there's always Cavalier games and the Bucks on Sportnet.

Mayeve even the Maple leafs haha. But yeah, I was basically saying:

The Raptors Losing > Watching a Cavs game.

Not that the Raptors are losing, but that's how entertaining the Raps are AT LEAST to me.

Some of ya'll are douchebags.
