Like I said, Barbs needs to play at SG, n I don't see DJ as a reliable playmaker just yet, which is why I much rather us get a pass-first PG then a swingman.

We had a pretty good PG named Banks. Did we use him?

I would love Pietrus. Just don't expect GS to be giving us any favors.

Banks isn't pretty good and he isn't a true PG either, he's a combo guard like Barbs

Kind of amusing to watch Khryapa be compared to Shawn Marion and Travis Outlaw in this thread. Comparable in athleticism in the same way that a notoriously athletic leopard and a 14 pound lump hammer would be.

Where is he? I don't see him on a D-league roster.

Khryapa is interesting, definately not going to bring in a PG. There is nobody available that would get any minutes. I think DJ is going to get some minutes now, atleast I hope so. He looked real good against the Hornets, and if he can show up and play that way the next two weeks, it won't matter who we bring in cause they won't get off the pine!

Yeah he would make sense from a purely D perspective. It's hard to find someone who can play tough D and score too. That is what makes DJ so special.

Oh and Khryapa is going to Russia for minutes and money. Cross him off your list.

"We are already looking at guys, contacting agents," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said. "I think it's safe to say we're looking for a wing defender/shooter. Obviously, losing Shawn, Grant (Hill) moves into that role considerably in terms of the versatile defender. You saw (Wednesday vs. New Orleans), he slides over and guards Chris Paul in crunch time and does a great job, but we don't want to run Grant out there for 38 minutes, either.

"D.J. (Strawberry) can also fill that role. Excellent defender. I would think we will add somebody like that. Preferably a guy who's played a bit."

they are looking for a defensive minded 3. Said the guys they are looking at are Linton Johnson, Ronald Dupree, Bobby Jones as well as Richie Frahm and Luke Jackson.
