Lester throws a no hitter against Royals

Post#1 » by The Rondo Show » Tue May 20, 2008 1:49 am

God damn he was filthy tonight. Mid-90's 4 seamer, filthy cutter, good curve and even mixed in a couple nice changeups. Command was pretty close to perfect, too.

What a performance.

Wow, another young Red Sox. I hope Materson will do same.

If only he were consistent! He reminds me of Daniel Cabrera lite - he's got a **** of talent, but sometimes has no control and other times is a beast. It's nice to see him hitting that high on the radar again, and this was an amazing performance!

Yeah, his speed got me excited the most. Congrats to Jon.

Anyway, a no hitter is something, but how about tek. 4 no hitters caught. National media, definitely underrates him as a catcher.

Lester pitches a lot better when he's moving at a quick pace. He got into a groove and just never got out of it. Congrats to him, it's quite a story.

Should be interesting to see how he bounces back, he sure did throw a ton of pitches.

Will Tek be in the Hall of Fame for catching 4 no-hitters? He just beat the great Yogi Berra out.
