Bosh drives to the hoop to draw the foul on Chris who picks up #5. Thankfully Bosh missed the shot but he made both free-throws. 3 point game.

Thornton fouled and scores on the continuation. He gets the basket and the foul. He puts us up 6. Knowingly or unknowingly that was clutch.

Traveling on Bosh. Thornton taking care of business on both sides of the floor. We lead 94-88 with 2:27 left to play.

^Mayo, Bayless or Rose should be our top options this summer via draft.

More and more I'm liking the idea of keeping Maggette and Thornton together on this team for many more seasons to come.

Maggette called with the block and Moon knocks down both free-throws.

If we could get a young talented 2 in the draft then I wouldn't mind keep Maggette.

Bosh drives to the hoop with a layup but is fouled by Thornton. 3-point opportunity for the flawless Bosh. He hits it and it's only a 2 point lead. 40 tics left.

Thornton taking the game into his own hands drives and draws number 5 on Bosh. He misses his first free-throw and the second. :nonono:

Calderon misses a 20-footer and Maggette winds up with the ball and is fouled by Bosh who picks up number 6. Maggette goes to the line and sinks them both. 100-96 with 12.4. It's a 2 possession game and Lawler's Law is in effect.

Maggette headed back to the line after rebounding Parker's 3 point attempt. Calderon scores on a layup but it's a wrap. Clippers win 102-98.

Great win for us, 102-98. Maggette, Thornton, and Mobley played great. We were able to get a win despite not having Sam Cassell. We did have 20 TOs, but a win is a win. Let's see if we can get the 6ers tomorrow night.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Wow! What a splendid performance by the Clippers.
Outstanding play on both ends of the floor.
Maggette had a huge game, and Kaman and Mobley were great, but it's Thornton who really amazed me and blew me away.
He had a really brilliant game. He is so athletic, and has sound judgment, and is unbelievably cool and gutsy in tense moments.
What a future this guy has in the game.
The officiating was a little dicey at times, but the Clippers just played through it all. Well done, guys. It was a very nice road game for the team. Congratulations to all.
(and after that vicious foul on the kid Rondo the other night, I'm just as glad that Cassell watched the game on television the way we did.)

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
