Im treating this as the most important win of the season for the following reasons:
1.We finally blew out a team that isnt a Lebron-less Cavs or the Seattle supersonics we beat a very capable Bobcats team.
2.The big 3 played well together and in all honesty this team will go as far as they take it.
3.Kidd proved to us that he still owes loyalty to this team.
4.Nenad gave us that hard nosed low post d weve missed for the longest time, in all honesty he gaurded much better than Collins and he's considered an elite defender for whatever reason.
5.Antione is getting his touch back, if he can keep it up, our bench will be that much better.
6.Another double double from Boone who'se slowly becoming a top 10 C.
7.Nenad's shoot was a bit off however that's a part of his game that will improve, the way he was running, moving and passing looked like he was never injured.
8.Sean needs to be coming from the bench...........now dont get me wrong I love area 51 or "el swato"(the name Ian used tonight) but we need to keep a solid pace for 48 minutes and Sean coming from the bench is exactly the solution.
9.Vince is looking much better, I think he's slowly getting back to 100%.
The one thing that still bugs the **** out of me is Frank, his rotations made NO FLIPIN SENSE!!!!!
-Noki getting only 11 minutes after playing really well for the past couple of games= WTF
-I like Allen but when his shoot isnt falling he's worthless, tonight his shoot wasnt falling giving him 9 minutes over a newly aquired Swift=WTF.
-I like DA but 15 minutes, while giving Marcus 2 minutes=WTF.
-Giving Swift 2 minutes let alone without Kidd(the sole reason we traded for him)=WTF
Again Frank=WTF

In all honesty the Mavs arent this ultimate team everyone thought they were last year, they floped in the play-offs and this year they're good but not unbeatable.
Really now if we play like this again, we have a very good shoot at winnin.

I know the Mavs aren't that good but they're certainly a lot better with Harris , without him their offense is almost 100% Isolation and kick-outs.
No real creator without Harris , even though he isn't the ultimate one .
Since he's still hurt the Nets should have very good shot of beating them , while it'll be hard with him.
Still the Nets have to play hard , if they're not they'll get killed regardless Harris or not .

very nice post, its a great recap. the only thing is you use "shoot" when your supposed to say "shot", even in your other post in this thread.
Boki should have played more in this game. He's been having a very good week so i dont know why Frank didn't utilize him. I wish i could have seen more of Stromile but im not bugged out. Malik's shot wasn't falling and without that, he is as good as jason collins on the offensive end. Swat played nice off the bench where i think he should be.

I wouldn't say Nads is a great defender, but he is pretty big. I'd have liked to have seen him on Okafor once or twice. I'm still looking for some aggressiveness, the shot will surely come.
Boone continues to impress with his energy, rebounding, mobility, touch, and smarts. Sean was equally good coming off the bench, though he makes more mistakes. I think a bench role might be OK for him- though he really works well with Kidd, he seems a bit more motivated. He certainly is very active, Both him and Boone. If Nenad comes back, we should be set back there for years to come. Forget Swift, he's not smart or motivated enough to break through the rotation.

Your telling Bargnani deserved to be in like he played this year ? He's just in because he was the 1st pick last year and they won't leave the 1st pick out .
The way Boone played since inserting to the starting lineup was just damn impressive and unexpected , sadly he was in Franks doghouse early

Great win guys but lets not get carried away. We did beat the Bobcats...a team that is terrible. Regardless a win is a win. Two big things to take away from this game. One, we finally closed out on a team in the 4th quarter. We extended our lead and didn't look back. To me, thats a great sign. We have lost too many games by letting teams hang around or losing leads going into the 4th. Second...starting Kristic was a great move by Frank. Kristic looked miles better than the previous game. He didn't look sluggish or winded. I think he moved well and battled inside for boards. Forget the missed shots...that will come with continued play. SWAT is so much more fit for the bench where he can be the energy guy we need.
I thought Frank's rotations were good today. About the bigs, Boone is the most consistent so far. Kristic will get the start from here on assuming his knee will be ok. That leaves SWAT as the first big off the bench. So it comes down to Allen or Swift to be the next big. There are pros and cons for both players. I really have no faith in Swift to be honest with you. He has showed me nothing in his career to really sway me to push for him. Noki didn't get much burn this game cause the Bobcats went with a bigger line up. With Kristic back in the mix, Boki will move back to the 3 and will compete with Wright for minutes. I think thats better for Boki. Lastly, I thought DA played well today. We know what we'll get from DA and thats hustle and stingy D. Marcus has played very inconsistently...seems like he's pressing. So I'm ok w/ giving DA more minutes especially when we're playing against smaller guards.
Overall, good game by the Nets. Glad we could finally blow out a team. Lets build on this.

i think i know who that friend is......hehe
Boone was not selected to the rookies/sophomores game because the selectors suck, how could Paul "Mr.Foul" Millsap go and Boone not?
"Owned!"btw Bargnani has not reached the 15+ rebound mark yet being a center and a 1st pick.
oh yeah and being a 1st pick will obviously give you more minutes and all-star appearences
