Because he was hurt for 75 games?

People who like to make excuses for Yi about him being a rookie tend to forget that this is really like Charlie's second season. He didn't really play much last year because of his shoulder.

There's no reason for CV not to start on Saturday. Yi is better suited coming off the bench and building back up his confidence by going against the second stringers for a bit.

Actually more accurately Kryskowiak did not say that Charlie would remain the starter..he said he was unsure:

Do you get credited with a triple-double if you get 10 turnovers? That's what I would do if you. Go for the points and rebounds and once you get those two just pass it to the other team 10 times. Ricky Davis ain't got nothing on me.

I think Redd is referring to some of the close calls he had this season where he had numbers like:

Nov. 3rd v. Chicago - 27 points / 9 rebounds / 5 assists
Nov. 20th v. Cleveland - 34 pongts / 7 rebounds / 6 assists
Nov. 21st v. Lakers - 26 points / 8 rebounds / 7 assists
Dec. 12th v. Orlando - 27 points / 10 rebounds / 9 assists
Dec. 15th v. Minny - 34 points / 6 rebounds / 9 assists
Dec. 17th v. Cleveland - 22 points / 7 rebounds / 9 assists

I know what he was referring to. I just wanted to know if you would get credited for a triple-double if you had something like 21 points, 13 rebounds and 11 turnovers. If you do then that's how I would record a triple-double, just seems easier than racking up those pesky assists, steals or blocks.

Is Michael Redd's goal really getting a triple double?

I wish Oscar Robertson were a part of our organization to be like "What? Watriple-double? Oh, triple-double!

"You morons, does that start with a W? 'Ooh, the ball had to go through me 5 times in the possession to force a 10th assist!,' sheeeit, don't mean anything. Overdue start putting something else up there close to your points and shot attempts, now leave the box scores alone and go win damn it! Get out of my sight before I smack the bald off your head!"

Gotta be able to get double doubles before you can get triple doubles.

And neither matter when you lose.

For some reason I think I've seen a highlight where someone said, "he had a triple-double - with turnovers!" ...I'm not saying Michael would take it, but if he got up to 9 I could see him thinking hard about it for a second.

"I get a triple-double every single night! Points, shots, and minutes, that's the Big M baby!"

What do you guys think the trade value of Charlie Villanueva is like? Is he a guy who should be able to net a starter or just draft picks or rotation players?

It depends so much on how he plays the next 5 games before the deadline, that 16-16 game this week helped a ton because he hasn't done a lot with 20 mpg before that. Last week almost everyone had a lower value in mind than we did this offseason.

With his salary so low (under $3M) and management claiming we already have 4 of our core starters, it seems most likely he'd be traded along with one of our worse contracts, and then the return wouldn't be as good either. So it's hard to see us getting a starting 1 or 3 for him alone (because of the salary, although I haven't looked to try to pick out guys where the salary and skills might be close) or that way.

Outside of that Orlando game, they aren't particularly close to triple doubles. They look more like average games from Lebron. Mike has a single double double in the past (what?) 5 years? What is he talking about?

Also, it's kind of pathetic that's his goal at this point. Our team sucks. I'd think that winning would be greater motivation for him to return than Dirk Nowitski's triple-double.

The really exciting part about that article is that bogut has an ailing hip. Oh goody, cause that's just what we need.
