Undervalues himself? He makes the most money allowable by the National Basketball Association and makes tens of millions of dollars on product endorsements. Oh yeeaahhh. Saying his team would be nothing without him really ups his value.
I don't know, I guess I'm spoiled by Dwight, who is just as valuable a player as Lebron is, but Dwight does it with class and respect. It sucks that he's an aberation in that respect, but I couldn't be prouder that that aberation wears a Magic jersey.
Lebron's team won 50 gmes and went to the NBA Finals last year. Dwight's team struggled to get to 40 wins and got swept in the first round. Do you seriously think that Dwight is as valuable as Lebron? There is no sense in sugar coating it for anyone. The Cavs are bad without Lebron. If he goes down for the year they suddenly become the worst team in the league. They would make the Wolves and Heat look like first class organizations by comparison. So I applaud the rest of the Cavs for not getting mad when Lebron makes those remarks or demands that management gets him some help. Basically, everyone in the state of Ohio knows that Lebron means mroe to that city than Kellen Winslow, Brady Quinn, Braylon Edwards and the 2008 Indians combined. Just because he has different personality than Dwight doesn't make him a bad guy. If you are going to keep shoving cameras and microphones in their faces, I would prefer for my superstars to be honest. I would rather have my superstar be like Lebron and have a big ego than to be an accused rapist or wife beater. As for debating whether or not he is the best, name a superstar who does more with less help.
As for him being a Yankees fan, who cares? He ahs the right to root for any team he wants. just because he lives in one part of the country doesn;t mean he can't be a fan of another. how can anyone be mad at him for being a fan?
