i didnt watch the game, but he should worry about making shots, not messing around with superior role players than him. he's an arrogant baby, who has yet to accomplish anything. back to the bench, JJ.

Then don't criticize the man if you didn't see the play.
Sasha pinned JJ's arms behind his back going around a screen, foul call, free throws for JJ.
Kobe then mutters something while they're getting in their positions for the free throw and JJ wasn't taking any of that sh*t. Sasha was right next Kobe when he and JJ were talking.
Hedo was pissed as hell on the bench during that too and had Adonal hold him back from crossing the bench line.

Rhea Perlman should get the loss, I blame her.
Tiger and Chris Tucker in the house, Magic Blue Crew jinxed us by not letting Chris parttake in the t-shirt launch.

Bucket Boys drummers were great at halftime and were playing on the outside of the north concourse, crowd loved them.

Magic Dancers looked damn fine tonight, Stuff did well and Paul Porter showed once again why he's the best PA in the NBA. :)

Game had a ton of highlights, and cool to see use break the 1st quarter team franchise record.
Sadly, the refs wanted to have fun with us soon after that. :nonono: :banghead:

And that's why you can't simply make conclusions based on a box scores.

We actually played very good defense on Kobe. It's just, well, he's Kobe. He's the best player on Earth.

Solid Snake wrote:17 points, 9 assists, 0 turnovers for Nelson. Just took a little too many shots. He is pretty amazing going to the basket, his jumpshot just isn't what it used to be. He should stick to around 8 or 9 shots a game.

I agree. His penetration and kicks were great.

He was showing that Parker/Paul knack for getting to the hoop through a sea of monsters. I was very impressed.

And for everyone whining about his height. He's just as good as anyone at using his body to create space between him and his defender when taking it to the hoop. That makes a hell of a difference, and it allows him to get shots off without getting blocked that other taller guards aren't able to get off.

your right, i just looked at the box score, but 53%fg, 10-20 3pt, 117pts and 2 guys with 30+, just stands out as bad d..but since some of you said we actually played ok d,... i will take your word on it..

Not sure what you read from the Laker Board. However, it is clear to us that Howard is a beast and there is no way that Gasol could contain him. Playing defense to get the charge is legit D in that regard.

I know I said that there is no way that Gasol could stop Howard physically, and if he needs to take some charges then , well, that is as good as playing D. Contact is Contact and as you as a Magic fan and me as a Laker fan, we know about that with Shaq.

Good game guys, you have a great team and some great shooters and of course howard.
Evans looks like he has found a home and love his hops. Cook looks like he got some minutes and made the most out of them.

I like your team more than any in the East and I hope you guys do well this year. I sure do love when you beat up on Boston.

see you in June ;)
Cheers. — Mags

It's quite amazing how forgiving the general public is. Now everyone is back to loving the adulterer/rapist.

By 2011, there is no doubt in my mind Michael Vick will be one of the most popular players in the NFL again.

You should never get this angry there's more to life. The sooner you realize that the more you'll appreciate players like Kobe. They don't come around often. Nobody is perfect even MJ was an adulterer.

Kobe, 30+ points.

15 from the FT line.

The remaining 15 he got from 26 ! shot attempts.
We defended him well.

The Magic won two quarters, and the Lakers won two quarters. With a minute to go, the Magic had a chance to tie or win.

There is nothing to lose heart about in this game.

This game seemed fairly well fought, havent had a chance to watch highlights yet; but given that 1st quarter I can imagine some fustration for the next 2.

However, given all the other division teams lost, we didnt lose any ground with our lead.

The Magic could use to go 3 for 5 in this home stand. That means wins over NJ and Cleveland, and 1 win between Dallas, LA, and Denver. So, now the pain of grinding out two key wins! Bring on Cleveland! Bring on Denver!

A two-game winning streak and a 7+ game lead in the South East taken to the ASW would be a great momentum builder for the young Magic.
