Looks like that ankle surgery was a bigger deal than they thought. That, or they're shutting him down for the good of the locker room. ;)

I think it's for the good of the locker room. Him and zeke were going at it almost everyother game on the bench. That cant be something that keeps happening. Starbury probably has played his last game in NY. Im sure someone in the league is willing to roll the dice with him again.

A quick look at the Knicks board also reveals that they're thinking of dealing QRich, Rose and Jones for Big Ben.
