Wow, you haters never seem to amaze me. Bosh shoots .500 and scores 29/12 while going 13/13 from the line and he lost the game for us? LMAO.
The game was lost way before that Thorton sequence. I guess people just want to find ways to blame Bosh even though he was clearly the one keeping us in the game when mr 5-14 was missing shots all over the place.

Doesn't make a difference. Until bosh learns how to pass out of double teams (i cant believe after 5 years of pro-basketball, 3 years of first opiton he doesn't understand how to do it), defend his own position (come on, it can be expected of him to play half-way decent D) and learn that he can't always be the finisher, he'll never enter that Superstar pedestal.

You clearly don't understand Tommy Gun/CreaM as posters.
For him to say chris bosh wouldn't be a top 15 player in the history of the NBA is like me saying bargnani should be riding pine.
It's fine to hate/like a player, but no offense, you're just constantly posting drivel, which is why you're gaining a Contender like status.

Bosh passes fine out of double teams. He's not exactly Vlade Divac passing wise but he aint Dwight Howard either.

uhh....Bosh can defend HIS position. PFs shoot 46.5% with a terrible per of 12.9 against Bosh. http://www.82games.com/0708/07TOR14C.HTM
Both numbers are very subpar for big men. So I dont see how you can make the claim that he cant defend his position. He cant defend SFs like Thornton, but he shouldnt be in that position in the first place. You think Hump, Bargs or Rasho would have been better suited guarding Thornton? lol

Wait--I thought the criticism from this board was that he was too passive in the clutch. NOw you're saying he's too selfish??
In the last 8 minutes of yesterday's game Bosh went 1-2fg 7-7FT for nine points...and you're telling me that his selfishness was somehow a problem???

Ya, thats why he was an MVP candidate a season ago and might end up being an MVP candidate this season. Lets face it, as Raptor fans, we expect way too much. His D HAS improved this season whether you would like to admit it or not (Bargs was responsible as the help man yesterday but failed when Thorton dove by Bosh). I dont get how Bosh is getting all the blame, you cant expect him to guard Thorton who is much faster than him.
I CANNOT understand how a player that has been averaging 28/10 in the past month and a half can be getting all this hate.

Well, the haters will always find something to hate on Bosh about. Remember at the beginning of the season when everyone was criticizing Bosh for being too passive and not getting to the line? Now he is doing it too much? So now, instead of getting to the line, he should pass it out? Well i guess that means more shots for Mr. 5-14.

LOL first off i wasnt hating on Bosh i was just saying how he should have adjusted. Sag off or make him go left. You cant sit there and honestly tell me that im wrong.
I didnt say we lost the game because of Bosh but that was a mistake.
i'm not a big Bargs fan either but last night he played good D and u cant blame him for what Thornton did, you saying that it's Bargs' fault cuz he was supposed to be the help D is stupid

Me saying that is just as Bad as you faulting Bosh for playing bad D on Thorton. He was put in a bad situation. He shouldn't be guarding Thorton that far out in the first place. Not disrespecting Mitchell or anything but he should have made an adjustment.

Last night everyone was a problem. Everyone made a series of mistakes that when compounded handed us a terrible loss. I mean this month should have been where we went off for like 10-2 instead we're playing like absolute steaming crap.
Bosh - shouldn't have been on Thorton but even still he made absolutely no adjustments in defending Thorton. He didn't force him left, didn't sag off and he didn't make Thorton change his game. That's not good D at all.
Bargs - he should have been there for the help D, his D on Kaman was solid but he needs to improve the help D. And make his freaking shots
Calderon - I love the guy but seriously he needs to become a dominating PG. I for the life of me cannot understand why he simply bangs the ball into Bosh and stands there. He needs to mix it up, he needs to dribble into the paint. He needs to do something, anything create some freaking offense. I don't care about your assist to turnover ratio, that means garbage when I watch tape. It's like Bosh with 29/13 last night, great stats doesn't mean he had a great game.
Parker - I'm confused, I honestly am. He's either spot on or totally off.
Moon - He's really starting to bug me, he needs to improve his offense drastically. He can't shoot so no reason to keep trying, challenge the D when they sag. Drive to the paint, take a jumpstop and either put it up for a dunk or layup or you're in the paint the D collapses and you have Bosh open probably and Parker and Bargs on your wings.
Our bench - Meh, they missed some gimmes off TJ's passes but I think they're used to Martin and Dixon so its a suprise. They'll get better.
We need to get a wing player quite simply, we need to become a more athletic team. Every team with an athletic wing will always embarass us plain and simple. Funny thing is a motivated VC would be perfect on this team. Stick him in the backcourt with Moon.

seriously, everyone needs to chill overhere. we're 26-22. just reading comments by many upset, angry & emotional fanbase, it seems like we have a record of 10-38.
was last night's game a letdown, yes. but there's no reason to panac.
just becz CB4 had a bad game, every franchise player such as kobe, KG, duncan, nash has a bad game every now & then, it doesnt mean that those players ought to be traded.
lets not forget, prior to last season, raps had been on the outside looking in on the playoffs.
raps need to watch this game & make sure they wont repeat their mistakes in their next game, which happens to be against the t-wolves.
raps have always come back strong after a tough loss, i expect nothing less.

Um, contender posts reek of some sort of sick twisted personal vendetta against bosh. If you think that's how my posts come off, you need to get your head checked.
For the one billionth time, I praise him when he plays well, and I hammer him when I think he's costing us games. I think that's pretty fair. He's got a shorter leash than bargnani in some regards because he's had 5.5+ years to figure things out.
If you think I was praising bargs in the game thread, maybe you should go read it again.

This was more of a team loss considering no one played exceptionally and especially given that we were comfortably up by 12 at the third.
Its part of the rebuilding process folks and oh yeah, this is still a REGULAR SEASON GAME.

We are not good enough a.k.a an Elite team to start saying "it's just a regular season game". ESPECIALLY at a time were we need to really secure that 4th or possibly 3th spot.
