I've really only seen Baston play twice, and plus he looks mean and intimidating.

I remember how great Dixon was last year (before that late season/playoff slump). What happened to him? I think he needs more burn, playing the two spot.

I'm sold.

Juan Dixon is a liability on defence and looks for his own shot WAY too much on offence.

I'd love to see somebody like Chris Wilcox in a Raps jersey. Banger, rebounder, good defender and he doesn't demand the ball, we have enough shooters to go around.

Hakim Warrick is nice and would fit in well.

Dixon, Graham+ 1st FOR Hakim Warrick.

Yeah, I don't know why we don't play Baston more. I know he was horrible in the preseason and was turnover prone, but he has looked solid whenever I have seen him play, which is not a lot. Dude is athletic and can alter shots. Maybe he's not a good rebounder and his overall defence isn't good...I don't know, however he should play more. Have any of you guys noticed how bad Rasho has played of late? And for some reason we continue to send him out there while Hump and even Baston sit on the bench. Don't know why that is the case.

The Raptors absolutely need to make a big time trade before the deadline. I'm not getting down on our team just because of yesterdays loss, but more because we don't have what it takes to make it in the playoffs. It's obvious teams like Detroit, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, Washington would easily take us out in any playoff series, and I'm not even going to mention the western conference teams... We have a good core now, but we need another star-type player in order to have any shot. If you look at our situation, it doesn't make sense to do any more little temporary fix types moves, I think we're going to see a big trade.

We need to sign a high calibre player - maggette or artest would be the best options right now as far as I can see.

Easyflow, I think that star-type of player will come through the draft or through a potential Calderon trade. I don't see BC making a deal for a all-star type guy like Maggette or Artest. I DO see him making a deal for cheap, undervalued talent. A guy like Pietrus or Gomes/Diogu/Elson come to mind. He's done these type of deals ever since he has been here. He did it last year at the deadline for Juan Dixon and I expect him to do the same this year.

I agree that BC has done those type of deals since he's been here. However, thats why I'm expecting something more significant. He did those moves previously to build assets with trade value. We have that right now. I don't see us getting an all-star calibre player through the draft in the coming years, we've passed that time now, we are not a lottery team. And if we want to keep our current core of players, we'll need to do some signings in the off season which won't allow us to sign any star-type player in the offseason.

A big trade must be brewing, especially with all the moves that are happening elsewhere in the league and teams that are remodelling. I say that the players likely to go will be TJ, Rasho, Kapono, Dixon - even bargs could be on the table.
