I doubt he get alot of 50 point games. Carmelo's not Kobe,Lebron, Tmac where they can just get the ball and call a iso.

he's 23, he'll develop further.

Carmelo's d was absolutely beautiful tonight

i thought it was pretty horrendous at times.

it's crazy to me that he's so young, because he's been in the league long enough to where he's almost considered a veteran now. I get the chills thinking about what his game is going to be like when he is in his prime in 5 or 6 years...

Carmelo looked like he was taking target practice last night. I can't imagine that he hits like that during warmups or shoot arounds. That said, you can tell that he still falls in love with his jump shot a little too much. If he had kept going to the paint all night long I think he would have had 55+. Again, an incredible performance and another reason why he's considered one of the top 5 offensive players in the game.

I just hope he keeps working on the defensive end and doesn't start forcing shots. The cold streak earlier this season really progressed and polished his game-- working the boards and fighting for position on the post. As long as he keeps that aspect of his game in the back of his mind I could see him start challenging the 30+ ppg streak like last year.

I only watched the end of the 3rd and the 4th so I didn't catch much but I saw a couple times where someone drove the lane and Melo watched as the layup went it or dunk. That does have to change.
