un-F***en real, just luck, this is everyything bouncing the gay soxes way, here lester is throwing no-no, and the top rated prospect of america cant stay healthy or get a dam out, unbelievable........

your hate is really nonsensical....I think Lester could be Boston's version of Any Petite with about 10 years on him

Damn, ya'll are HATERS. I understand those comments because he's a Red Sox, but you have to feel at least a LITTLE happy for the kid, right? What he did last night transcended the game of baseball. Jon Lester, for one night, was bigger than the game and I think comparing how the Boston young arms are way outperforming ours is the completely wrong way of looking at this.

Sorry, but I do not feel that way. I am happy he survived cancer, but I still stand by the thought that I hope every time he steps on the mound he gets his ass handed to him.

Jon Lester will finish this year with close to a 5 ERA... you can book it.

hey, as a person who lost his mother to cancer in 2001, I am happy lester survived, and I hope he lives a long, happy, cancer free life... but when he steps on the field, I hope he gets pounded every time.. and this has nothing to do with John lester the cancer survivor, but Jon lester the Red sox....

My mom had a fairly serious case of breast cancer a few years ago. She survived, and there is not a day that passes that I don't thank God for her survival. So I admire Lester's strength and his resolve to beat cancer. But this is baseball and he is on the Red Sox. It is nothing personal, but every time he steps on the field, I hope he gets his ass handed to him... Go to another team and I'll be his biggest fan..

yea.. life changing event.. we were real close, my mother and I...

anyway, moving on, this makes me sad....

A-rod is back tonight and we need this series vs the O's, we have some teams to catch and right now the Rays are playing above their heads and the redsox are pulling wins out of their arses....

Just hate 2 hear that Boston is makin noise while the Yankees r once again playin baseball just cuz they r under contract.. But it is a feel good story.. No hitter after cancer? hate Boston or not u like to hear bout this
