Bosh might start in All Star Game!

Post#1 » by fame » Sat Feb 9, 2008 9:31 pm

So apparently Kevin Garnett is still not full recovered from his abdominal strain. Doc Rivers said that there's only a 50/50 chance that KG will play in the All Star Game.

With KG out I think it's a no brainer that Bosh will take his place in The Starting Lineup.

Well Doc Rivers would get to choose who starts.

I'd bet on him starting Pierce.

Especially since Bosh is the backup C.

From a balance standpoint it makes more sense for Jamison to start. It'll be interesting to see what Doc does.

What are you serious? So LeBron will play the 4? I don't know about that, K.G's replacement can take a seat on the bench and back-up the 4/5. They have to pick a big in this case. So Sheed or Z will get in, which sucks, but oh well.

Bosh gets his spot back.

Honestly I think Doc will pick his guy.

I think the replacement would be Turkoglu.

I think if it is Turkoglu, it would make sense to have one of either Howard or Bosh in the game at all times. Which means it wouldn't make sense for them both to start.

Lets be honest, if KG doesn't start Lebron is going to be forced to play some PF. Lebron, Pierce, and Butler aren't splitting all the minutes at SF anyways.

I agree, that makes sense. It all depends on the replacement.

I believe Jamison will be picked to start over Chris Bosh not because he deserves it more but because Bosh is the only backup C on the team. I think the coaches made a wrong choice of voting for Joe Johnson there are enough guards on the teams they should of voted for another PF/C Rasheed Wallace or even Zydrunas Ilguaskas. But from a matchup standpoint I'm really sure Jamison will be picked to start.

Jamison should start at the 4 and whoever's chosen to replace KG backs him up.

Didn't couple years ago when Jermaine O'neal was injured Flip picked Vince instead of his 4 Pistons? I'm sure Doc will make the right decision and choose Bosh.

Yeah Flip picked Vince over his 4 Pistons, but just from hearing Doc talk he's not a modest person. Neither is Pierce. If Pierce wants to start Doc will start him IMO.

Yeah, but even he said he did it so that his 4 Pistons could all sub into the game at the same time.

I think Pierce will start, not because Doc will want to put in his own player, but because KG will be out, it's only right he replace him with somebody from the same team to represent that team instead.

It's a shame when someone on an internet message board doesn't get a Simpsons reference. A damned shame.

I just can't wait for the AS game when this board goes nuts when Bosh gets 'frozen out'....

while Dwight & Bosh are friends it's really a PG/SG's game so it will be interesting to see who Kidd & Co., decide to feed the ball too.

Is it Doc's choice or does the starting position go to the next highest votes at that spot? It would only make sense to keep it upto the fans since thats who is suppose to have the say. If so then Bosh deserves the spot if KG is out casue I do believe he was third in votes.

Aint that right Bubba?

That's RIGHT!

I think it goes to next highest in votes & then Stern picks the replacement for the reserves.
