My Take On Golden State Warriors :
Very exciting team to watch, but if they want to go deep into the playoffs they need to address their rebounding, hopefully Webber can help them in that department.

Image The Ernie Johnson Stat:
The Warriors Are 14-0 When They Hold Their Opponent Under 100 Point, and Kings Are 1-18 When They Score less Then 100 point.

Preview:
The Golden State Warriors hope their second game with Chris Webber back in the lineup goes better than the first.

They'll try to rebound from a disappointing loss when they close out a five-game homestand on Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings, one of Webber's former teams.

The Warriors (29-20), who are tied with Houston for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot, failed to capitalize against injury-riddled Chicago and lost 114-108 on Thursday. The defeat -- which came against only eight healthy Bulls players -- dropped Golden State to 3-1 on its homestand, and spoiled Webber's first game back since he forced a trade from Oakland after his tumultuous 1994 rookie season.

I hope for a good game. I know the Kings are going to show up - they've been playing well and the Oracle crowd never fails these days to get the away team pumped up. Not sure which Warrior cast will show, though. Martin v Ellis should be a great show. And Artest v anything is always a blast. Baron stank it up last game, so maybe he'll wake up. And then there is Webber. Don't expect much there yet. He is *not* in game shape.

Look for Nellie to do wacky crap like lay Pietrus against Moore, and Harrington against Miller.

Yeah, hopefully this is a good and fun game...If we win this, we are 1 game under .500...We dont usually do well against run n' gun teams in contrast to halfcourt teams...And this a B2B game as well...So, let's hope they surprise us...

I plan on being busy celebrating the Washington Caucus results (since I live in Washington and am thrilled with Obama's lopsided win).
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

don't feel good about this one.

I just hope we don't settle for jump shots, and get to rim.

missed shots will likely be fast breaks for them we will get tired out.

once agian, its all on Ron, he wants to come out ball hogging or move the offense.

Remember that Martin/Bibby didnt played for the whole 4th quarter last game...So, I expect them to be the key of the success in the game...

oops. I missed the "vote after the game" part. I thought it was a prediction poll.

I voted Moore. Every big man with a motor has a big night against the Warriors, where the pace is high and the rebounding poor.

Now I know why you moved to Washington, it all makes perfect sense now. I'm still ashamed that my state of California voted for Hillary.

A win depends on what Kings team shows up tonight- the one that takes down giants like the Pistons and Spurs, or the team that makes others feel better about themselves, like the Sonics.

if bibby would stop settling for jump shots, then he would score more. Anyone who relies on jumpshots isn't going to do well often.

I am starting to think that Kevin never really snapped out of his slump--as seen partially with his game last night after the 1st quarter. We're just not in control enough as a team to handle a game this frenetic.

Let's stick with this lineup for a while. It appears that Ron and Kevin are maybe starting to get on track.

Return to Sacramento Kings
