i didn't read the link but obviously, it has to be Zach Randolph coming in for BigBen. No way they'd take Curry back.
Either way, doesn't really change the Knicks situation except that Randolph-Isiah disputes will come to an end.
Chicago would do better with Randolph as they desperately need that big player in the frontcourt.

Bulls would keep Wallace over Randolph.

doesn't make sense to me at all, if this goes through then it'll be for the sake of just making a trade
Sounds like some of the people in this board wanting, BC should make a trade for the sake of making a trade or fire his arse and bring back the man with the plan, Babcock..

The rumored trade is too much. Malik + Q - Ben W
No need to add Jones, who just pushes Bulls into Lux Tax
If Jones is in the deal, then the Bulls are adding someone - maybe the expiring Duhon
This trade has benefits for both teams
NY knows Ben is no longer an all-star - but they are offering players who are not in their plans at all

he drafts soft players like Vince, McGrady, and all those knicks..
players with talents, but no heart or intangibles...
Vince was traded for - not drafted - by Grunwald.
Zeke may not be the best GM or coach, but the dude knows how to draft.

The Knicks are ajoke and plain embarrasing. They should trade their contracts for players with expirings or fewer remaining years than the players they are dealing away. the problem is that every player on Ny is stained because of what's going on there. They would be the l;ast roster in the NBA that i would choose.

i disagree...his track record is for drafting highly talented players with character issues...players who never reach their full potential..

And their character issues are his fault? He's not supposed to babysit them, he drafts them for their talent. Every GM does, and it's a risk you take. Look at BC drafting Amare, who was known for having an attitude problem coming out of high school. Look at Shawn Marion, doesn't care for winning, just wanting to be The Man. Every GM has guys they draft with character issues, you can't knock Isiah for how some players turned out.

Isiah is good at spotting talent, you have to admit... Even just recently, look at David Lee with the 30th pick and Balkman at 20th, those guys are hardworking, talented players... Everybody knocked Isiah for Balkman especially, since he was supposed to be a second round pick, but it turned out Isiah had the last laugh... And nobody can say Lee and Balkman have no heart, every team would love to have those types of players...

There may be something here:
http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com...533.column
There was a report on ESPN this weekend of Bulls talks with the Knicks about Wallace for Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose and Fred Jones. Wallace is believed to have told friends he expects to be traded and would like to go to the Knicks.
I believe if the Bulls can't get something better, they could do that to move Wallace's contract, though Rose has a season left after this and Richardson two. Those two, though, hardly address the Bulls' needs and perhaps create other issues.
Some of the motivation to move Wallace now is that Joakim Noah clearly is the team's future center, and that was evident again in a strong finish Thursday night in Golden State.
