Umm, we have a legitimate excuse for that... :) But I do see your point...

I don't think that anybody here is even considering moving Miller at this point unless it's some kind of crazy dump and run because Martin goes down for the season or something like that. His value right now is actually probably higher than it's ever been, and it's also pretty obvious just how integral he is to our team right now.

We want scenarios that move Bibby, Artest, and find some way to unload the salary bloat (for us) that is Kenny thomas. There's no fire sale going on.

Miami deals

PG Jason Williams Expiring
SG Ricky Davis Expiring
C Mark Blount

for

PG Mike Bibby
C Brad Miller

This is obviously a salary purge trade for you guys but should give you plenty of cap space. Blount's deal is 10 mil less then Miller so you guys also get savings in that matter.

Both teams say no. Miami isn't interested in getting big deals back like Bibby/Miller and the Kings don't want to get rid of Miller for basically ****.

I still think that Artest is going nowhere. If anything, Bibby is on the move - especially when even though he's playing half-assed lazy through a good portion of games, he is still producing in the manner which he is capable. i can't imagine that there aren't several GM's out there that have noted this and are feeling around for a deal.
