If I took what you just said about people freaking out over one loss and compared it to my quotes from earlier in the season, you'd see that we're saying the same things.

You are more diplomatic and have more credibility due to playing both sides, but we do share an opinion here. Sorry if that bothers you. Go ahead and claim that it was some sort of sarcastic, tongue in cheek remark, but its pretty obvious that there is at least a little bit of truth to be found in what you wrote.

1. Because it's fun
2. Because I don't live in the bay and don't have any W's fans to hang with here in Miami
3. Because I like writing about something other than business for a break during my days (see "1:fun")
4. Because I genuinnely enjoy the company of a half dozen posters here, I would choose to hang out with them in person and consider them "friends"
5. Because I get directed to articles and local media that I'd never take the time to find if not for the guys here.
6. Because I love the Warriors and this is another avenue to enjoy following the team

Cool= Calm, collected
Guy= Informal way to say 'man'

Trying to pass yourself off as a calm, collected guy that doesn't take anything seriously but then making negative remarks to me for agreeing with you on a point is contradictory. That bothers me, especially as you are someone that claims others take this too seriously. At least I will own up to the fact that I take my opinion seriously and don't like to see people rip my opinions or my character.

And the answer I expected regarding why you come here includes all the nice stuff you wrote, but also the following...

1) You enjoy the one-upsman'ship involved in debating
2) You have a popular little persona which you like to maintain (which is why you get so defensive when someone threatens the popularity, directly or indirectly)
3) You take the community here seriously

Anyone that makes 10,000 posts and engages themself in so many debates is clearly into this thing on a level deeper than "I do this in my breaks from work" "I come here for the articles." It's obviously something personal and important to you, at least in relative terms. And thats fine.

Whatever reason you come here for, thats your business. Just don't call the kettle black and act like you are above the "serious", egotistical, overly proud, bantering. You get into it just like everyone else does, even those you try to diminish by calling them crazy.
