Colangelo flew back to Toronto for urgent business

Post#1 » by SportsGuy8 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 4:21 pm

Bryan Colangelo (along with a group of Toronto's delegation) was supposed to be at Slovenian Cup final today, but he had to return to Canada due to "urgent business decision".

Masai Ujiri & others stayed, though ...

Perhaps a trade is "brewing"? ;)

Just something to chew on ... ;)

Edit: Changed title to make it clearer.

In slovenian, though. ;)

Will try to get some infos from people that were around him these days (he was in Zagreb, Croatia, too, yesterday ...), but can't promise anything.

Edit: he had to go at 7AM! So really urgent I guess. :)

I hate to speculate.
It is either one of the three. Could be a trade, could be a family or personal matter or he left just to make his way back to T.O. to run the club.

How is a family matter an "urgent business decision"? And why would he suddenly leave before the championship game of the tournament so he can "run the club"?
