Shawn Marion is an excellent player in any system for any team. He's so damn good at getting things done without commanding the ball a lot. I really like his game.

This game answered any questions I ever had about Marion's ability without Nash.

I think he's a lot better playmaker than people ever gave him credit for.

Well, for people who are old enough, or who remember, Marion was a pretty good player even before Nash got to Phoenix. In fact, a couple years ago, 82games.com did a study and showed that Nash impacted Marion's game the least.

With this particular lineup just post up Lamar on Marion and he will either score,or find you for the wide open 3 like he found Farmar for our last 3 point shot.

Lamar has Marion pinned under the basket like a little kid. Marion looks helpless sometimes. All we got to do is go to it. The Heat will double team and Farmar or Sasha will be wide open for 3.

Yeah. I've always felt that way. I love his game, and I'd love to have him on the Lakers.

Or, Marion will just take away the entry pass because he's very quick and has great anticipation

They tried that. Didn't you see?

Sasha recognized it late and threw a horrible pass to Odom that Marion stole away.
