I'm watching the Minnesota feed of the game tonight and the announcers just finished joking about how Sam Mitchell should run for president. They were talking about his days in Minny and how he could really argue his point and rant about various things. One of the announcers started comparing him to Obama and that led to the presidential campaign jokes.
Anyone else catch that?

Lol, Did anyone else hear the Minny announcers claim how Mitchell is intelligent, and can be any of the mentioned occupations. They even went as far as comparing him to Obama, and David Palmer from 24 and saying he resembles them. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard these statements, although nice, but far from the truth.

Sam Mitchell for President?
Minnesota television announcers have high praise for Sam Mitchell, and regard him as a highly intelligent individual who can "do anything he wants, he could be president of an organization, general manager, or even a politician."
The colour guy has nothing but praise for the reigning Coach of the Year, and relates his charismatic appeal and enthusiasm to Democratic hopeful Barack Obama.
I think Smitch would make a fine American President. Do you?
