I think Chuck is responsible for that. No one watches this team they ask Chuck what's going on and he says

" Well ______ Jose Calderon has been fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He leads the league in A/TO ratio!!!!!!!!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!!!"

dude, you give chuck too much credit. chuck says it because he hears other people say it and so he keeps using it as his argument. seriously, just stop. a/t ratio may not necessarily be an all-star quality stat but it's been part of everyone's argument of why jose should make the all-star team. you think all those nba analysts care what chuck thinks? i think they can make their own observations.

Where do you think they get this stuff from? You think they actually do research on the Raptors???? They talk to the opposition's play by play guy and he tells them what is good about the Raptors. No one in the NBA cares that Jose is first in assist to turnover ratio except Chuck!

When Mugsy Bogues had a 4.1 assist to turnover ratio did anyone care then??? Nooooooooo.....

yeah i'm sure the fact that jose's been averaging nearly a double-double, shoots high field goal, free throw, and 3 point percentages, has shown he can run an offense and has a high a/t ratio is all stuff people get from chuck. i'm surprised bargnani didn't win roy.

Actually, Detroit had a better record going into the A.S. break in 05-06 when they got 4 All-Stars, than Boston does right now or going into All-Star weekend.

And Detroit fans are the first ones to say that Sheed shouldn't be in the All-Star game. However, the NBA wanted a C in the game since Howard is the only C in the game so it was only between Sheed and Z. Z should have gotten the nod.

Rasheed is undoubtedly more upset over this than any Raptor/Magic fan could ever be. He told the NBA he wanted no part of A.S. weekend.

Hey don't shoot the messenger Chuck says it himself ALL THE TIME. They don't have the luxury of watching the Raptors play at all in the States so they ask the guy who they know see's them on a night to night basis for his opinion on what is happening up here.

You guys feel yourselves too much if you think opposing commentators have time to waste checking out the stats on the Raptors  a team NO ONE outside of Ontario cares about!

i'm not talking about what opposing commentators think. i'm talking about what nba analysts think. john hollinger came out and did a whole article on why jose should be in the asg based on HIS formula. it has nothing to do with chuck. granted you can interpret hollinger anyway you want, but the point is other analysts, other than just commentators who need stuff to talk about, have used the same argument and i doubt chuck has much to do with it.

wow.

shocking.

so Doc Rivers decided this or what?

Turkoglu deserved the spot for sure.

how can you get 3 detroit vs. 2 boston and just 1 orlando.

if anything, should be 2-2-2 for top 3 teams in the east.

I think Josh Smith was the clear choice for me. The guy is a fantasy monster look at the numbers. If he was on Boston or Detroit he would be a clear cut ASG no questions.

Hope a guard goes down and Calderon gets in
