1. Efense- No, not a typo. We figured if the Magic were going to forget the D then so could we. The Lakers are a great team that executed well, but allowing better than 53% from the field and 117 points is unacceptable on your home court. Even if many of the questionable calls weren

Dude....I'm telling you. I have seen Magic coaches T'd up for walking onto the court, much less the middle of it. And yes, I agree that is Kobe's job. The refs just listen more to him and Phil than they listen to the coaches and players on other teams. But as I said, that's the NBA....you expect that. I mentioned it but realize that's the way the league rolls no matter how unfair it might be.
I know that Lakers fans are accustomed to getting everything they want from the refs in the NBA, but on most teams, when a player on any other team runs right up to the ref and puts his face in the refs face and starts screaming at him....especially when he continues to do it for a matter of minutes like Vujacic did....they usually are not only T'd up but ejected. I have seen Magic players T-d up when they question a call from 10 feet away. Vujacic got away with murder in that game. What was even worse is that he kept complaining the entire night -- not as vehemently but bad just the same.

I wouldnt expect Lakers fans to undestand that.

The game was bullcrap any way. The flow of the game was perfect IMO for both teams through the 1st quarter and then from the 2nd quarter on it was basically bullcrap call after bullcrap call. Hell Hedo and Howard got 5 fouls called on them in the span of a minute in the 2nd quarter, making both sit for nearly the entire quarter. Howard nearly fouled out with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
You figure the Magic would get some respect at home, but I guess that is too much to ask for.

That's what happens when you reach because of being out of position (foul #4) and just stand there and stick your arms straight out (foul #5).
Hopefully that was a learning experience for the young man. He should have just stepped aside on the 5th and let Kobe dunk it. His being in the game is very important to the team on both ends of the floor.

The league will do whatever it takes to get the Celts and Lakers in the finals.

Do you (generally speaking) expect them to ignore our blatant fouls? Because Dwight's 4 and 5 were obvious real fouls.
Not sure how Dwight pushing Kobe with 2 extended arms is a "fix", while under the rim in the protected arc.
