Game Thread: Charlotte v. LA Lakers 2-11-08 7:00pm

Post#1 » by SteveMorrison15 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:09 am

Laker Fans: I have selected 17 games to have the Game Thread be NBA JAM themed. The Year 2008 marks the 15th anniversary of NBA JAM so this is an all year event. So enjoy!

Gasol flops like a fish. He worked Dwight few nights ago so look for him to target Foul Prone Okafor. He needs to step up.

KOBE!!!

Atlanta Hawks next up!

Line - Ups:

Los Angeles Lakers:
C- P. Gasol
PF- L. Odom
SF- V. Radmanovic
SG- K. Bryant
PG- D. Fisher

Charlotte Bobcats:
C- N. Mohammed
PF- E. Okafor
SF- G. Wallace
SG- J. Richardson
PG- R. Felton

I gotta think that Sam will stick Wallace at Small Forward to rest him.

Gerald Wallace was not in action for the Bobcats on Sunday, sidelined after aggravating a strained muscle in his right foot.
Wallace is day-to-day, but he's already aggravated the injury and the Bobcats could play it safe, opting to keep him out until after the All-Star break. Jared Dudley did nothing as a fill-in starter, and should only be looked at in deep leagues. Feb. 10 - 11:08 pm et

I doubt Wallace plays. He was limping in the last game he played. Right now our entire team is spent, no sense in risking further injury in a game where we're pretty much going to get crushed. And the rest of our sad sorry bunch is in serious need of a mental break. Might as well not even play this one.

nice gamethread ... should be a intresting game ... Lakers can never seem to beat the Bobcats at their place ..

Gasol and Okafor will be a key matchup but so will Kobe and Jason Richardson

your poll should have been...over/under 30pt loss?

Nice game thread. The Nba Jam theme is awesome! Good luck tonight, Lakers always have trouble in Charlotte.

I get the Bobcats feed tonight - which is always a nice change.

Don't know about you guy's, but I'm almost out of gas tonight. After our "showings" against the GSW's, Kings, Nets and Pistons I'm not setting my sights too high.

And Crash is out again.

Kobe might only play the 1st qtr - that's all he'll have to play.

McMinus with the start at the point, Felts at the 2, Swish, Eo50 and Nazzy in the front court.

Stephanie Ready is asking Wallace about something, but he speaks only in mumbles, so I have no idea what information was relayed.

I'm amazed that EO50 and Nazzy only have 1 turn over each. I seem to remember them dropping or fumbling more passes than they have caught so far?

Maybe we hired the Hawk's statisticians?
