Well there is a hockey forum. I haven't checked yet but it's probably on the general discussion board, the Sabres board and the Panthers board.

As for the injury it sounds like he's fine.

Steve Moore getting sucker punched by Todd Bertuzzi was the worst hockey injury I can think of.

Edit: He needed surgery to close the deep gash. Barely looked like the skate touched him. He's in stable condition at a hospital.

Damn, they just showed a different version on FOX with all of the blood. It just gushed out right away. I'll try and link it.

Crazy that this happened in Buffalo AGAIN, where fans almost had to see goalie Malarchuk die on the ice maybe 15 years ago?? You can probably find that on youtube as well.

Yeah, that telecast was much better in capturing everything. You can't see anything on the Zednik video. Not that I care about seeing it or want to see it, but people are a lot more sensitive now where cameras have to be pulled in this type of situation.

There's 3 source tapes of it that are clearer and don't cut away.

The clip that Pip had on FOX showed everything. Showed the skate hit him and then blood flying out immediately like it was a super soaker.

Two of my friends were at that game when they were maybe 11 years old. Think the doctor later said that if he was at the other end of the ice further from the tunnel he would have died

Zednik covered it up right away, there wasn't much to show. The 2nd link I posted follows him til he gets off the ice and his blood trail. It's just that it was less gruesome than Malarchuk's. He didn't sit there and let it pool up, he got off the ice right away.

The Malarchuk one was awful. Zednik's was just as bad, but you didn't see it all like in the Malarchuk one. In the Zednik one, you can barely see blood just shoot out. Either way, it's incredibly scary stuff, and if Zednik does make it back to the NHL ever, he's got more will power than I do. A lot more.
