finally a good game for the nets. nice to get a win. VC played great. Nenad had a decent game. SWill had a bunch of great plays and it seemed like everyone actually gave it their all for once. Hopefully they play like this more often and we can start winning agiains.

PS: my laptop broke so thats why i havent been posting as much as i used to. Should be getting a macbook soon though.

Certainly a shocker tonight. We played great. Hopefully this will be a turning point for us. My only complaint right now is that Swift has been a garbage time player so far. Frank, GET HIM INVOLVED. We don't need Malik Allen taking minutes away from Stro.

Made watching the game worthwhile just to see him reject Juwan Howard!!

  Jeff Van Gundy, eat your heart out!!

I noticed during the second quarter Boone got benched for not rotating defensively.. that's a good sign. He did have a nice block on Nowitzki during the game but it's a good sign that coach Frank is willing to hold him accountable for poor team defense.

I wouldn't get used to Swift.

Williams, Nenad, and Boone are all (or soon will be) better options. Keep in mind Jefferson and Nachbar often take turns at PF because lots a teams play small these days. I'd be surprised if Swift cracks the rotation. Poor guy.

I think Stromile is the best player out of all them but the others have the benefit of more experience in the system. Maybe Stromile will have a more significant role after the all star break...

But I think that Coach Frank probably agrees with you. All the other players involved in the Griz trades have been playing... even Kwame Brown....

So it's not a good sign for Stromile.

VC is such a softy/wuss/no-heart

HAH!

great showing by the nets. i had a blast watching it. plenty of highlights.

it reminded me of the last time we beat dallas in 2006, on ABC. we r*ped em then, and we r*aped em now. the big 3 played great in both of those games too.

Hey guys .. didn't watch the game but i couldn't help but notice you held Dirk to 4-16 shooting .. what did you guys do to him defensivly ? double certain times ? played man ? did you have a smaller or bigger defenfder on him ? or do you guys just think he was off or a combination of all ?

^He saw lengthy defenders all night. He was especially bothered by Sean Williams who played suffocating D on him

Stro probably doesn't know the plays yet BUT he should be getting more minutes than Malik 'no defense' Allen thats for sure

Holy **** best flipin win of the season!!!!

-Again when the big 3 play well together this is possibly the best team in the league, case and point on this game.
-Finally a terrific valuable blow-out win, this isnt a Lebron-less Cav's, a rebuilding Seattle team or an average Bobcats team, this was the flipin Mav's a credible all out contender.
-Vince is back baby Vince is back, I dont know why or what he's been doing but his game has received a major boost lately I just hope he keeps it up.
-Manu and Barbosa aint got **** on Sean Williams, he should def' make a run for the 6th man of the year awayd this year if he keeps it up.
-Again Nenad is that missing piece the team has desperatley needed, opposing big's would 9 times out of 10 abuse Sean and Boone, but its clear that Nenad has been working on his low post D tonight aside from his shot(something that he'll def' get back eventually) he looked like was never injured.
-The team finally found the answer to its good stretches bad stretches in the form of Williams coming from the bench.
-The game was won thanks to some old school hard nosed D, which was very problomatic in that 9 game loosing streak.

I give Frank credit for getting the team focused and motivated again but Again this is a mute point but come on how many mistakes can one guy make?

-I like Armstrong......a lot he's the biggest hustler this team owns atm but come on him getting 15 minutes and Williams getting 1 makes no sense.
-Stormile has played great in those few minutes he got from Frank, why not give him a chance over Allen who'se shot has been off lately.

Bahh this is the first time Frank's stupidity wont spoil my fun :)

After the season we've been having, I felt like we won the superbowl.

Sean was straight nasty. It seemed like for just one game, all my criticisms were answered. Energy on both ends, initiative by our stars, getting in the paint, decent rotations by coach. And Sean being > Dirk. Who swats a three pointer? nasty.

And nenad was big for us i though. Even though he only scores 4-6, I feel like he helps our team a lot. If i didn't know any better i'd call him the glue. If not that he's at least a stabilizing factor on this team.

Great Win!!!!!!

Damn we needed a win like this!!

Good Game by everyone. Frank scared me alittle but he does that every game. OVer all Frank did a good job. This is for all the VC lovers, even VC had a good game. I guess he needs to get hit early every game. Is it too late for signing Oakley just to hit VC at pre-game shoot around.

I disagree. We should dictate how we want to play. The Suns and Lakers trades just shows that. We have good athletic bigs. There is no reason for us to go small. Pick and Roll all Day long!!!!!!! Between SWIll, Boone, and Swift, just keep pick and rolling. I would include RJ and Boki in that too. Then with Allen and Krstic we Pick and Pop. Our bigs NEED to score in double digits. We need atleast 4 ppl with 10+ to win. So PICK AND ROLL/POP ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!

The only negatives about yesterdays game is Boki's stupid fouls and Sean made some stupid fouls as well.

 i agree w/everything u said, even the super bowl analogy... but w/the way this season has gone, i wouldnt be surprised if this win was an abberation...ill say this tho, if we make the playoffs as a low seed, no higher seed wants to see us in the first round

You are right, he had to get hit in the Charlotte game to play well. Horrible absolutely horrible logic

Really now common guys why is it that after every good game Vince has people have to question his motivation, maybe just maybe the reports are correct- reports that claim that only lately he's been feeling healthy.
