How worried should we be about tanking?

Post#1 » by Nowak008 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 10:11 am

Last year might have been an extreme example, but every year there are a couple tankers. Even with the addition of Marion the Heat aren't going anywhere. A couple of other teams stars could magically get hurt, and be shut down.

How worried should you be about it?

I'm at least keeping an eye on the issue...

as a bucks fan, do you think they will shut down Michael Redd if he has more knee trouble? I was considering trading for him (buying low, you guys have a great h2h schedule) but was concerned about him getting benched late in the year if knee problems continue.

Looking for Miami to Tank if there's no improvement with Marion. The last thing wade needs is extra minutes.

I'm staying away from DWade this year... As good as he is, he's been beat up the last 2 years. I'm hoping to go deep in the playoffs and I need people I can rely on. I think Marion's gonna play though. He loves his stats so I dont see him missing games.

I like Redd too... What are you going to offer for him?

I was trying to get him as part of a deal that would send

Lebron
Wade

get

Paul
Redd

(with some other pieces involved, favoring me)

but that was the core of the deal. thoughts?

I'd keep Lebron and Wade to be honest. How deep is your league?

Well the races are pretty close in both conferences right now, so it doesn't look like a big deal.

I'd rather have LeBron Wade.

What are these "other pieces."

From that core, LeBron/Wade wins.

The "other pieces" better be somewhat significant for you to take that deal..
