2007 Raps Playoffs prices???

Post#1 » by jbraptor » Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:16 pm

I assume this is the right place to post this, as i am not selling or looking for tickets, just info for May.

As we all know the raps are bound to make the playoffs in 2008 (*Knock on wood**)
Last year I unfortunatley was unable to attend any of the games as I was in the Dominican Republic for the NJ series. Just trying to watch the games on ESPN Spanish at a dive bar with all my boys was fun in itself, but actually being there in the SEA of RED would have been a dream come true!!!! Before i left i tried to scoop up some tix at Ticketmaster.ca (Presale & Public sale) Trust me i am quick on the Computer and I had no luck or should i say chance of obtaining any tix!!! I wasnt able to check anyother ticket outlets either, {craigslist, realgm, stubhub etc......}

So as the time approaches I am saving my pennies for some RAPTOR NBA PLAYOFF tickets~~~ So to get to the point:

I have a quick question for all you Raps loyalists whom attended last years first round Playoff Games. What were last years playoff ticket prices going for? average...? Upper bowl? and lower bowl?

Thanks for all your financial advice!

IMO, the best, cheapest, easiest and surest way to secure palyoff tix is through a STH. We get first dibs and we also get to buy upto 6 additional seats at our STH prices! Last year I got my full allotment for the entire playoff run.

In terms of prices, here was the breakdown for balcony prime:

2006/07 | STH prices | Public prices
Regular Season | $42.50 | $59.00
Round 1 | $44.83 | $78.00
Round 2 | $55.17 | $96.00
Round 3 | $65.52 | $114.00
Round 4 (FINALS!!!) | $75.86 | $132.00

In terms of availablity, STH got first dibs, then half seasoners, then mini-pakers... by the time they were available for the public, there were barely any left. Actaully I think the upper was sold out before the public sale began.

Good luck. :D

P.S. my playoff tickets are already accounted for by family and friends :wink:

I may technically be a "coach", but I have been around for years.
