1995- I wanted KG because of the SI feature. #2 on my list was Ed O'Bannon.

1996- Marbury, because of all the stories about he and KG being buddies.

1997- Bobby Jackson

1998- Ricky Davis (saw him in the inaugaral Big Ten tourney at Iowa, he was such a different player then than he is now), Al Harrington, Brian Skinner (guy was a beast at Baylor)

1999- Andre Miller and James Posey

2000- MoPete and Marko Jaric

2001- Z-Bo and Tinsley

2002- Frank Williams

2003- Barbosa (.net said he was the next Gary Payton!), JoHo

2004- Varejao, Duhon

2005- Granger, Wright, Warrick, I didn't like McCants

2006- Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay (Roy much moreso than Gay, I remember arguing with people on this board hardcore that Roy was better than Carney), I thought Foye would be a mistake for whatever team picked him.

2007- Noah (Devilz talked me into him), Brewer, Hawes (when KG was here)

Im with RC on McCants. I was a big fan of the swagger he had and the way he carried himself, he seemed JUST like KG, just not as humble. I wanted McCants cuz I wanted a 3-point killer who could get to the basket as well, I wasnt big on Green.

Roy was whatever to me, I didnt think he would be as good as he is so fast, but I still feel he is overrated on this board. I wanted Gay or Foye. I figured we would take Foye and I was happy with it.

Last years draft, oh boy was I upset when I saw BWright, whom mock drafts had going no lower than 4-5, fall to us only for us to take Corey Brewer. I didnt really like Brewer pre-draft cuz I knew about his offensive woes. I knew he was a good defender and it makes sense with the direction we are trying to move the team but at the time, I was all about BPA.

In the 2nd round I was equally upset about taking Chris Richard, who I hadnt heard of before the draft and missing out on Marc Gasol and Reshawn Terry.

I was so upset with picking Bracey because I wanted Blatche bad. My idea most drafts has been gamble on a big man in the 2nd unless there's a clear cut choice at another position. I knew he'd be a project, but still can't stand that one.

Going further back as others have in 1996, I wanted to trade down and get the Knicks three 1st rounders and use one for Nash. I think Donte Jones of Mississippi State was the other guy I wanted with our multiple picks from the Knicks. I had no interest in Ray Allen and would've chose Kerry Kittles over him if I had to chose (so I'm admitting I'm not perfect)

my 2nd round picks (and I'll reiterate my 1st round picks) at the time were these:

2005:
1. Gerald Green/Danny Granger/Antoine Wright/Joey Graham (forgot that I liked him too)
2. I really wanted Ryan Gomes and Andray Blatche or Amir Johnson would have been good in my book at the time as well

2006:
1. Rudy Gay (unquestionably...I didn't like Roy or Foye much)
2. Denham Brown/Daniel Gibson (I hated the Cookie pick at the time, but he turned out the best, so good)

2007:
1. Brandan Wright/Corey Brewer
2. Derrick Byars
