Lol what about his defensive rebounds? He CLEARLY doesn't bring the same energy that he used to.

We need a starting PG.

Jameer nelson is better than arroyo, But he cant guard anybody. He's a sixth man type.

Yes i agree but that is attributed to being disrespected on the offensive end.

im blaming dwight right now. he needs too pull his head out of the gutter. i could care less if he has ten points or 30 points if playing defense, blocking shots and getting more rebounds means less offense and more W's then DO WORK dwight. stan is absolutely right and i wouldve sat him too

So what Dwights supposed to be okay with never getting the ball? Just be happy to play defense? There are so many problems with this team, should he play better defense? Absolutely, but it's hard for a player to maintain motivation when he hardly see's the ball, especially when he is his teams best player, leading scorer, rebouder, etc. SVG is a moron and I hope he's gone at the end of this year. I said what I thought about him earlier this week and got flamed. He was fighting with J.J, he wanted them to get rid of Ariza, and how he's fighting with Dwight. He's a freaking idiot.

not really hes had like 5 blocks in the las 7 games where he used to be getting like 2 or 3 a game. and his rebounding has plummeted. hes playing like okafor was in the beginning of the season. he needs to quit complaining and start playing with some intensity

I think Matty has the right idea. He seems to always recognise when Dwight is getting shut out on offense. He also always mentions how good things happen when we get Dwight the ball. I don't see Stans problem with giving the ball to Dwight. I just don't see it.

Cleveland won despite a lot of bad luck. The Cavs were without three of their top players, and nearly lost two others in a 30-point drubbing Sunday night to the Denver Nuggets -- Zydrunas Ilgauskas with back spasms, Damon Jones with a sprained ankle. Both played Monday, but were game-time decisions.
Cleveland's plane was grounded Sunday night with a mechanical failure. The Cavaliers tried into early Monday to fly here before giving up for the night. They didn't arrive in Orlando until about 1:30 p.m. Monday for the 7 p.m. tipoff.

Wow, and they were playing their 4 games in 5 nights : No excuse

From what we have seen from Stan would suggest otherwise. He called out Dwight and you know what, Dwight deserved to get called out.

Yeah man, yeah he did. But not like that, and like someone else said, Hughs wasn't Dwights guy. And just because Dwight needed to be called out, doesn't mean Turk and Lewis don't need to be called out. They gotta work that ball inside out and they flat out aren't doing it. Why doesn't VG ever talk about that? He's completely short sighted and he plays favorites. He treats some players like ****, and others he lets get away with murder. If there has been one truely under acheiving player this year it's been Lewis, yet he's still yet to have his moment in the sun with Van Gundy. Redick flat out shouldn't be on the bench for defensive reasons, it's obvious the guys above him suck at defense. And Evans flat out can't shoot. As long as he's starting, Dwight should be doubled all day with no fear. And you know it. You guy need to stop making excuses for Van Gundy. He's not going as well as you all think he is.

he did that too but i remember dwight led the team in TO's because hill wanted to play inside out basketball when we didn't have any shooters to spread the floor. dwight led our team in points last year and it wasn't just off of fast breaks- we had no fast breaks.

I agree with SVG. I was saying the same things he was right after the game (not claiming to be some basketball sage. That's just my opinion on his game right now and it happens that SVG appears to have a similar opinion).

I just don't think Dwight is a good enough offensive player to demand the ball as much as he seemingly wants it. He'a at his best when he's playing defense and rebounding. The rest of the game will come.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Well he's going to be, and it's time he got it so he can learn. Turk and Lewis will NEVER be able to carry a team. They should not be the 1 option, Dwights the teams leading scorer. Not them. A team shouldn't go away from what got them there.

uh no. no offense runs through anyone attempting only 10 shots a game. howard gets the ball more now than he did then and he still doesn't get the ball enough.

I'm gonna add this too, Dwight takes games and doesn't play good defense, but when Orlando plays good defense, it's usually 90 percent Dwight. He has a great games on that side of the court. Hedo and Lewis NEVER play defense. They both flat out suck at that end of the court. Which makes it so much harder for Dwight, yet nobody ever talks about that.

Van Gundy has done a good job.

We are 11 games over .500 with the most road games played in the league. We have no starting point. We have no starting power forward. He's done a great job with what we've had. Sure I would love to and think that he could probably play JJ more, and maybe try and get the ball to dwight a little more, but he's done a nice job with the roster he's been given for the most part.

Turk is our best offensive player hands down, he does it all.

But the problem is Defense not offense.
