OT: STARBURY's

i grabbed $50 worth of starbury gear at walden galerias steve n barrys.hoodies,tracksuits,shoes and more.it was like 2 huge bagloads of gear.thx steph.

Starburys are definitely a great deal, if you're afraid of it breaking down, buy 3-5 pairs like what the OP said, and alternate on wearing each one! you wont be dissapointed!

i love steve and barrys and i have a pair of the shoes but they really suck for basketball in my opinion, not very good tractions i had to spit on the bottom of them like every 10 minutes

I've got two pairs of the originals, and a pair of the new ones that I wear around. Grabbed a solid t-shirt as well. Great prices all around.

For those (like myself) thinking: "Is this just a New york thing? Or are there Steve and Barry's here on the West Coast?"

I have an answer for you. YES. the closest Steve and Barry's is in the Everett Mall north of Seattle. Which is great. I play too many different sports to buy $100.00 shoes for each sport. However, for $9.00 I would get a couple of pairs of shoes specifically for Bball to last me awhile. No more getting laughed at for wearing Asics Court shoes.

I got myself a pair last year, and I honestly just wore it once. I'm not sure if it's the material, but my feet got really hot wearing them. My friends were also complaining that they wear out very fast. But with that price, even if you buy a pair for each month, it'll still be less than getting a pair of Jordans... now THAT'S ridiculous.
