Do we have any interest in Zach Randolph?
Accoring to the wiretap, Zach Randolph is being shopped by the Knicks. As discussed countless times, our biggest need is at the 4. I know Randolph's defense isn't the best and he has baggage with Mo, but he is a guy who can average 20 and 10. With our PF options looking to be limited in free agency this summer, do you guys see Randolph as a possible solution and what would you give up for him?

I don't know Randolph well enough. Is he a guy who can be motivated by his peers if put in the right situation or is he a bad egg who will poison the well. I am sure Mo knows.
Actually after thinking about it, I doubt that the Knicks would trade him within the division. Plus I would only give up the Utah first and expirings for him and I am sure they want more than that.

Don't worry, that builds character and you can never have too much character...

Just playing devil's advocate here. The Knicks are famous for taking on contracts, what if the Sixers could get Randolph and give up the contract's of Willie Green and Reggie Evans, plus maybe throw Jason Smith at them with Kevin Ollie (it works on the trade checker).

I'd take a chance on Randolph for next to nothing. I wouldn't part with Young, Williams, or Smith; but if the Knicks would listen to something like Ollie, Green, Carney, and filler for Randolph, how could the Sixers not be interested? And I'd even keep Evans as a backup. Sure, Randolph is a fat idiot, but it'd be low risk and high reward.
Furthermore, it doesn't look like there's any hope for a high pick. They're still stuck in the middle of nowhere. Not good enough to threaten anybody in the playoffs, and not bad enough to get a high pick. Randolph could change that.

No, you are not the only one. He is definetely overpaid and I don't want him regardless of what we have to give up. 20-10 is great, but Webber near the end of his career was doing that so it's nothing to brag about. Randolph is a above average player on offense, but a below average player on D....that comes out to an average players IMO and you don't pay average players what he gets. Especially ones who have attitude issues.

The good news is that Mo does have experience with Zach. I imagine that Ed would at least talk to Mo about Zach before going after him and so if Mo thinks Zach could fit with these guys, than it'll happen.
I've said this before but I would go after Zach if we struck out on all other options in the summer.
Does anyone like/love this lineup??
