Post "snub" February Baron Davis stats:
.339 FG, .200 3P, 4.8 rebs, 7.0 ast, 3.5 stl, 14.0 pts
Roy?
.461 FG, .250 3P, 6.5 rebs, 8.3 ast, 1.3 stl, 22.3 pts
Also, the Blazers didn't "snub" Baron, the Western Conference coaches did. Why would that have a negative karmic effect on the Blazers?
It is unlikely that the Blazers will make the playoffs. I think they stand a chance to make a push in March when they have a relatively favorable schedule. April, however, is a disaster waiting to happen. Of course it was also highly unlikely that they'd be within knocking distance of the playoffs at this stage in the season...it was unlikely that they'd win 13 games in a row....and it was unlikely that they would land the number one pick in the draft last year...so, hey, you never know....

Eh, the Kings are 8 of the last 12...They should be easily 10 in the last 12... (Sonics/Warriors game)
IF the Blazers are free falling like this continuously and the Kings are getting hot like this...IMO the Kings will catch them and be ahead...
You are rooting to grab the 10th seed in the West?
If I were you I'd be either for the playoffs or for Beasley and let Artest walk.

Amazing foresight!
Didn't literally EVERYONE say that the Blazers would not make the playoffs months ago? See: EVERYONE'S 2007-2008 predictions...

In October most Blazer fans thought a win total in the high 30's would be a success, the low 30's would be somewhat disappointing, and it seemed like most fans expected something in between.
IMO this season has already been a success. The third youngest team in NBA history is still within striking distance of the playoffs in arguably the toughest conference ever and Brandon Roy was selected by the coaches for the all-star game.
The Blazers current core of Roy - 23, Aldridge - 22, Oden - 20, Webster - 21, Outlaw - 23, Rodriguez - 21, and Fernandez - 22 doesn't have a player over 23. The average age of their core is 21.7
Other pieces include Jack - 24, Frye - 24, Blake - 27, Jones - 27, and Pryzbilla - 28.
As far as our playoff chances? I don't think this team gets in barring significant injuries to key players on other teams. The west is just too deep. As much as I'd love to see them sneak in, the difference between the 8th and 9th team in the west will mean picking around 13 rather than 19. That's not a bad consolation prize.

When has Sergio been a star in the making this year? I've watched every game and he's never gotten significant run this year. Did you mean LaMarcus Aldridge? Sergio is more of a long term project who has shown some excellent flashes.
