Spurs and Suns will probably duke it out in the West finals or the 2nd rd again like last season so who wins that will go to the NBA finals. You guys cannot rule out Detroit, or the Cavs, the Celtics have to go into the playoffs hungry and feel like the underdog. With all the recent moves in the West, it's still Spurs/Suns imo. The Mavs will duke it out with the Lakers and the Spurs/Suns will be to much for them.
So if your team makes it to the NBA finals, I'd say the Mavs would be the team you'd want to see there. The Lakers once Bynum come back will be tougher.

Meh. It's got to be LA - it would be special then. Defeating some never done much team like Dallas wouldn't excite me...plus I would rather not see Mark Cuban whiney mug on TV all the time..
Kobe OTOH might be a villian but he is exciting villian. he is the Gary Oldman of villians. Dirk is just like that guy that Rocky beat up.. Can you really get fired up to beat Dirk?! But Kobe that would be SWEET!

Maybe it's just me - but I want to beat The Best - cus you Know if we Did get to the Finals and Beat a Dal. or a Jazz - people would still say 'they didn't have to face SA or LA or 'Insert Team Here' - they did it the easy way.'
So - that being said I guess I want the Spurs... but when I first saw the title of this thread I thought 'LA' - and when LA got Pau - I was happy - it will be fun... and good for the NBA if it is Celts-LAL.

Thanks, I was just trying to pick some peoples brains.
I can't believe some people would want to face the Lakers. I figured Dallas would be the favored choice because they are easier to defeat.
