I would be surprised if the Knicks can trade him.

If the Sixers traded for him I would start an Ed must go website.

He would be worth the risk if we received the Knicks 08 first rounder in return, and didn't have to give up any assets.

I didn't mind Randolph a while ago, but now that the Knicks want him gone, something is awfully wrong.

If we gave up say...Green, Evans, Ollie, Carney + 08 First for Randolph, Collins + 08 First Rounder I wouldn't be upset

The Knicks 1st rounder is likely to be a top 3 pick before/after the trade.

We could take Rose or Gordon with this pick.

Miller/Collins
Gordon/Williams
Iguodala/Young
Randolph/Smith
Dalembert/Booth

or

Rose/Miller
Williams/Collins
Iguodala/Young
Randolph/Smith
Dalembert/Booth

The more I think about that contract... the more I cringe. I'll be shocked if Thomas can find a taker for Zach. Consider what Portland took in return for Zach. I mean, they were willing to pay Steve Francis $40MIL not to play a single game for them in order to get rid of Zach. Channing Frye is a nice role player but he's not that nice. I can't imagine Zach's trade value is any greater now than it was this summer.
