I HIGHLY doubt Crittenton can be had that easily.

Why would Cardinal Agree to a 3 mil buyout?

Why wouldn't MEM just buy him out outright and keep Crittenton.

They already have Conley and Lowry, I think Memphis would be extactic to lose Cardinals ugly contract in exchange for moving Crittenton. Memphis is clearly rebuilding and moving Cardinal makes them the huge player this offseason. Cardinal wouldn't agree to a 3 million dollar buyout, that is just the most money Memphis can contribute to it.

Conley looks like hes going to be exclusively a PG.
Lowry too. Mike Miller SHOULD be on his way out, he looks to not be in their future plans.

IF gay can play SF (IIRC he can)

Conley(30)Lowry(10)Crittenton(8)
Crittenton(20)Lowry(15)Gay(13)

Theres enough minutes to go around.

MEM shouldn't be trading young valuable assests for so little.

Is losing Crittenton really worth ditching 2 years of Cardinal?

I dont think it is.

To Memphis I think he is. Crittenton is not a SG, he plays with the ball in his hand. He is not a guy that can play mainly off the ball.

Isn't CV just gonna walk after next year? Yi and Bogut are clearly the guys in Milwaukee.

So we trade him for crap this year because he might walk next year? Don't think so.

Redick, an expiring, and a 1st round pick isn't exactly terrible value for a guy averaging 8 and 5.

It is when you realize that Redick would be a backup to Redd and probably Bell and Ivey, the expiring contract is less than 3/4 of a million and the 1st round pick is late.

Oh yeah, CV is averaging 10 and 5 in 20.6 minutes this year. Context is always fun.

If we were trading Redd coupled with Gadz or Simmons for some expirings milwaukee might do this deal.

It makes a ton of sense for the Grizz. I don't understand why people keep saying that. They move their terrible contract and get a clean start at rebuilding with tons of money to go after 2 big name free agents this offseason. All for the cost of their 3rd PG pospect.

You can argue that the Milwaukee deal doesn't make sense for them, but this deal makes a lot of sense for the Grizz.

^They could use JCN or Mike Miller to dump Cardinal, Crittenton was a key piece of the Gasol trade, trading him away now, and so soon would be a TERRIBLE move.

He was only a key piece because that was the only good young player the Lakers had to move. He filled no need and has no real fit in Memphis. I get how it would look to turn around and dump him, but Memphis doesn't need him. Miller could probably move Cardinal's deal, but JCN I doubt would.

^Well, they could move BOTH, get massive savings and keep Crittenton, like the deal I made. It also nabbed them 2 1st and a 2nd.
