I was thinking it was micheal and Walt but that'd be too easy. I wanted it to be a new character. Do you already know, or are we just bouncing ideas around?

I spelled it wrong, all those years ago. And having a name like this means that I can introduce myself in the same fashion as the great Troy McClure.

^I always wondered why it was spelled wrong. I couldn't decide if it was a mistake, or deliberate. Now I know thanks to the OT thread :)

Well lookie here. You guys are actually talking about females, albeit, in a very awkward way. Good job, I'm impressed...

So what are the limits of this board, I kind of have a penchant for controversy...

I want to be starting something. I have GOT, to be starting something.

I just had to do a little spring cleaning. If anyone was wondering what the bounds where for the OT thread...there you go.

Yeah...hopefully this leads to actual basketball insight, instead of my normal crap.

I liked your normal crap.

What basketball insight is there to talk about? PJ sucks at coaching, the team sucks at defense, and we might be the worst team in the league. That really is all the insight you need to know this year.

Where in Africa is that? I imagine the best time to watch is early morning, local time. I know Kenya is 8 hours ahead of NY, 11 hours ahead of Seattle. Might be an hour or two earlier than that in West Africa.

The one time I went on a safari, I got stuck in traffic in Nairobi early in the morning and missed breakfast time for the big cats. By the time I got out there, it was nap time for the predators. I only got to see potential prey... some giraffes, zebras, a wildebeest or two, that's about it.

Were you wanting to see just the big cats themselves, or possibly them taking down another animal? It would be an interesting experience, but I don't think I'd enjoy seeing the actual hunt...I can't even stand watching that stuff on Animal Planet.

Speaking of which, I hate Animal Planet. Especially that one show where they just take animals to the emergency vet. I don't see the fascination with watching pets in pain, even if some of the stories end up being happy endings.

Dunno. I don't hunt, and don't understand how humans would consider killing animals to be a sport, but I guess I was more than a little curious to see it happen in nature. My presence wasn't going to affect anything, anyway.

So, jenn_gp, are there any reports of anything interesting happening on that site?

P.S. Whether or not they're hunting, I think it would be most exciting to see them out and about... make it feel like you're living dangerously. But the big cats mostly just nap all day, so you have to get them during hunting time (early morning), like it or not.

^Well, this morning around 6 I saw a Cheetah and three Giraffes...

Right now I'm watching a pack of monkeys walking around by the pond area. This is the most action I've ever seen in one day.

I'm inherently jaded as I deal with tons of illegal immigrants, and the only reason I deal with them is because they've done something horribly wrong. Yet I also know many people who came to this country in that manner and are better citizens than 99% of this mostly worthless population.

I'm dead-set against a wall...
