Perk's shoulder long term concern?

Post#1 » by Cyclical » Wed Feb 13, 2008 10:15 am

Between the feet and the shoulder poor Perk can't get a break. Expect this to pop up (no pun intended) throughout the rest of his career. Great to see Powe and Baby stepping up but as we'll get into the playoffs we've got some pretty delicate centers with Perk and Pollard.

From today's Herald article:

Perkins admittedly is worried that despite surgery 2 years ago on the shoulder, he was re-injured.

Nick Collison went through the same thing and is fine now.

Danny has to draft a center if he can. Pollard is done and perk's shoulder is a concern. Ideally Perk is your back up and someone else starts. Danny should look for a project who he can develop like Perk. thabett from uconn or hibbert would be great but they will probably be gone before we pick.
