I would blame this loss on the coach giving 20+ minutes to Antoine Walker! Why in the world are the Wolves letting guys like Gomes and Smith have their minutes cut by Walker? Why?
No question there is a mandate to lose basketball games if Walker is getting 20+ minutes. Holy Crap.

in general I agree with you but tonight it was okay because walker did a decent job tonight. on offense he was good (if you can use this term for anyone except bassy tonight) and defensely he was close to average

I blame Al Jefferson for smoking way too much weed last night. How can you otherwise justify his performance?

If you want the truth, I blame Frank Sinatra for raising the price of good looking whores for the next century. These guys that play basketball are tempted by some foxy ladies. I've seen it up close.
If Frank wouldn't have eaten his Eggs Over-Easy off of some chick's breasts one moring in Vegas, life would have been easier for NBA players. Biotches want more and more $.

I didn't watch the game, so this might be easier for me to say, but I don't mind losing a game to NJ. We are going to be a better team in the second half, and if they decide to blow it up, they are going to be worse. More importantly, I think we need to get these losses in early, because we're likely to lose ground in the standings.

Milwaukee 19 33
L.A. Clippers 17 32
Charlotte 18 34
New York 15 36
Memphis 14 37
Seattle 13 37
Minnesota 10 40
Miami 9 41

Many of the teams behind us now could be intentionally tanking over the last 30 games, but I don't think McHale can instruct Wittman to do the same, and kill the young guys' competitive spirits. If we continue to develop, I could see us slipping behind all these teams.

Even though I know this, while I'm watching the games, I can never hope to lose. However, if we are going to lose, I'd prefer to get them against the mediocre and bad teams. A few wins against top teams like PHO should be enough to keep the kids from losing their self-confidence. The next day, after a loss to a team like NJN, it doesn't sting.

I don't think we have much of a chance to pass Charlotte, LA or Milwaukee. Gaining 7+ games over a 32 game stretch is pretty tough. I think we'd have to play .500 or better for that to happen.

Why any team would rather lose with Walker on the floor and Gomes on the bench is beyond me.

with only less than 10 seconds to play and the game already being decided he went to richard jefferson and did something unexpected (just in this moment I switched back) dunno exactly what it was but the ball popped from jefferson out of bounds and the wolves had another posession. atfer the wolves inbounded the ball foye hit a 3 pointer to make it a 4 point game but there where only 2 seconds or so to play so it was basically pointless
