Chris Broussard in an article on ESPN about the Dallas trade:
"With the Western powers gearing up for the most competitive postseason one conference has ever seen -- with potential first, second and third-round thrillers -- it shouldn't be long before Denver pulls the trigger for Ron Artest. (Go ahead Nuggets, part with Linas Kleiza). They have to make the deal to even have a prayer of competing in May."

Nuggets Pursuing Zach Randolph?

The Denver Nuggets are poking around, trying to see what they could do to pry Zach Randolph from the Knicks. If they do, the Nuggets will have officially turned themselves into the old Blazers.

i don't think we can afford to bring in another dude with a big, negative personality. randolph would not help our team. ya, he can score in the post, but that's about it. he doesn't play d and would just screw up the chemistry that we've been building all season. i don't think we should go after artest either.... i'd much rather be going after mike miller

That is exactly what this team needs. Nothing like having another tweener PF on the roster. I hope this rumor is false, false, and false.

uugghh...Z-Bo?
i don't know. If he comes with Renaldo Baulkman, maybe. but who for? Kenyon? no thanks. Nene? maybe. but the ramifications of trading nene could be terrible in the locker room.
in the past i've been all for trading Camby, but i'm convinced that we now can't afford that. even though he has games where he disappears, his good games would be sorely missed, especially in the playoffs.
so i'm not sure now.
i still think Mike Miller would be a great addition off the bench.
but i'm losing interest in Artest bigtime.
if we could get a smart young point, a 3 point threat and a big body to bang down low for Nene and Najera, i'd be all for it.
but Kleiza has to stay now. he's playing too well to let go.

Oh Geez, tell me your joking? We already have a few players with lazy attitudes, no need for another one. Zach is definitely not the answer.

so my dream of trading k-mart+filler for kidd is finally gone. personally i think they have no bench anymore but kidd adds very much to a team so that the bench maybe isn't needed to win games (look at the celtics).
i watched the game where the sixers beat the mavs and the mavs really played bad. it's true that they need a true PG but that's the same thing we need additionally to a good defender

Randolph paired with Camby ain't *THAT* bad. I won't trade for him in three lifetimes, he's not the answer, but *MAYBE* it could work, so I wouldn't cut my veins if we trade for him.
Stranger things happens.
About Kidd... I wasn't sold on a powder blue Kidd. I think it had a 50/50 chance to work so... we will never know.
I would love to trade for the backcourt player we need, but I don't see nobody feasable who fill our needs. This team has the talent to put it together, we have the pieces, now it's time to put it in work!
