Why are you giving him up for nothing?

And in a seperate deal, the Nets will send G/F Antoine Wright to Dallas for a future second-round pick.

he's a complete bust so we sent him somewhere else to screw up the offense. The future player to come out of the pick would likely be better.

Not like they were going to re-up him anyway.

Funny how he had that great opening game...

The weird thing is Frank gives him tons of run in late game situations.

I wouldn't say he's terrible just terribly inconsistent.

No he's terrible . He's suppose to be a shooter but he can't shoot.

Hard to believe you guys passed on Danny Granger to take Antoine Wright. Of course you got Sean Williams this year, who looks like a steal. You win some, you lose some.

Clearly this isnt a seperate deal, it's just made into a seperate deal because it did not work salary wise with the rest of the players. The Nets were probably not going to resign him anyways so why not get a 2nd for him?

The Mavs had a Trade Exception, and they cant be combined with anything. So to use it in this deal, it had to be broken into two deals.

I hate this second deal. But it's not like the Nets are giving Wright away for nothing, this "second deal" only went down because of the first deal... Still... 'Toine was one of my favorite players =/

you guys are crazy. Wright never lived up to his hype. Never had a consistent jumper, was basically a non-threat on offense overall, except for a few games. His defense was pretty good, but overall not worth the pick. We're lucky to get a 2nd rounder for him the way he's played.

Antoine went to Texas A&M for 2 years (or was it 3?).

So someone in Dallas who knew him from his college days might actually really like Wright, and think his career can be rehabilitated.
