40 Games!!

Post#1 » by jopaullo » Wed Feb 13, 2008 3:03 pm

Guys, we won 40 games already. I just looked at the record, and just laughed. Remember last year and the year before we were all saying we would be happy if we won 40 games, because could get our young guys some playoff experiance? It kinda just put things in perspective, and I felt the need to post my happiness. Also, I gotta mention how good were playing without Garnett. Who would have thaught. :P Not any of the writers who cover pro basketball. Go Celts

P.S. Sorry for abusing the Emoticons :wavefinger:

It will be interesting to see if thay can approach the same winning percentage after the all star break. playing around .800 ball is very ambitious

60 wins is definitely attainable. I think their ceiling (this season) is 64.

I think the Celtics will "slow down" (not have AS good a record) during the second half of the season, but only because they don't have to. This isn't the West- they can rest Garnett, Allen, and Pierce so they are nice and healthy for the playoffs.

24-9 from here on sounds about right for 64 wins.

20-13 from here on for 60 wins seems like a lock.

I'd be thrilled with that record. It very likely clinches the East, plus the team gets the biggest one season turn around in NBA history.

This party's awesome!!! I had trouble even watching the playoffs the last couple years because I was too jealous and angry. I won't even be able to go to sleep the night before playoff games this year. Wooooooooooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
