So THIS is why they were planning on brining Nick Fazekas out of the DLeague.... CRAP!

We now have a big gaping hole in the center just like Paris Hilton.

Yeah we know we want to rebuild but Dolan wants us to fight for 33 wins >_>

Yeah but regardless we know something about throwing away our Future for Win Now...

"Win Now" would refer to actually winning now. New York isnt nor hasnt done that.

I am willing to see this thing out, but I think this team got worse today

I'm definitely in the same boat. We basically got rid of our bench and more importantly Diop which leaves us vulnerable at the C position. Not only that, but what happens in a couple of years when it's time for Kidd to be shipped off to the glue factory? Will JET go back to playing PG or do they expect JJ step up? We have no first round picks for a few years and it's already hard enough to get a solid PG that can actually defend.

I would like to say this has improved our chances in the playoffs, but right now I can't even say that. I think with a depleted bench and only Damp under the basket, we will be hurting quite a bit. I think this deal only kills the teams contender chances now and definitely in a few years. I can only hope I'm wrong.

On a side note... Ager is gone!

It seems like the mavs were desperate to win now! But the kidd trade wasnt ideal for being in the west... It doesnt seem like the mavs are going to win anytime soon with kidd or without.

please don't let that idiotic post represent all knicks fans. This is a good trade, you can't have your point guard averaging 5 apg

Kidd has been pulling a VC this year, he doesn't even care anymore. All he does now is try to go for triple doubles because he doesn't care if they win.

kidd will get you guys to the 2nd round, which wasn't guranteed before this trade in the real NBA (Western conference). Your future isn't thrown away either, considering Kidd's contract is only 2 more years and you still have Josh Howard who is slowly becoming the best player on your team.

You guys sending 2 firsts along with all those players and cash, you must want to win this year because Kidd only has like a couple years left. Lets hope those picks aren't good ones. BTW who gave George a no trade clause.

late first round picks don't matter, except when you are a crappy team like the Knicks and scrubs we take in the late first manage to look like the best players on our team. Lee plays no D, Nate is a midget and can't cover anyone, Mardy Collins is the worst player in the league besides Vaughn on SA, Wilson Chandler is dead, Renaldo Balkman can't shoot and his defense is average. We suck, stop abusing fans of teams that win because their owner isn't an idiot and hires a sexual predator who is attracted to transexuals(look at a picture of Anucha Browne Saunders). Pitchers and catchers report in 2 weeks, i have 2 more weeks of this team of scrubs.

I wish Eddy Curry's heart had had complications back during the first scare so his fatness wouldn't ruin our roster like his weight ruins other people who have health insurance that have to pay for his fatness.

You don't think I realize my team sucks, I know they suck and we have had some bad trades over the years. Just because we have an incompetent GM, doesn't mean we all wanted every single trade to happen. We think differently than he does but he has the final say on pretty much everything.

Now on to this trade(if it happens), not saying its the worst trade ever, but it seems like you gave up a lot of pieces for a disgruntled guard who wanted out anyway and still need a big man to complement Dirk. Saying that Dallas is still a very Formidable team in the west, and AJ will make sure he keeps it that way.
