Okafor Trade Proposal?

Would you guys trade Okafor for Okur?

You gain shooting, 3 pt shooting and an All*Star level center in the east. Okur would go back to his 20pt a game clip he played at when he didn't have to split touches with Boozer when Boozer was out.

Okur also opens up the lane for your lane driving studs: Wallace and Richardson!

Okur also has demonstrated and increased ability to score in the post the last two years.

You get an all star level center at a reasonble price instead of having to pay Okafor near max money.

PS: His stats at the begginnig of the season were down because of a shoulder injury. As of late he has recovered and is doing great.

No way. I'm the biggest Okafor hater here and even I don't make that trade. If we're trading Okafor, we need to get back DEFENSE, someone who brings it every night. Okur would turn our already soft team into the Knicks.

Okur/ Okafor trades are not salary cap comparable, so let's dead this discussion.

All-Star indeed...

Adding a first is at least more palatable, but since it's the Jazz it'll be in the 20s, so I don't see us getting a really good player out of it. I don't think we're trading Okafor anytime soon.

I don't know if Othella Harrington is a player for you guys or not, but Okur for Harrington and Okafor, plus our first round pick. Heck and our second as wel.

He is completely irrelevant, we have been wanting him off the roster for... years, honestly. I don't think it's a BAD deal exactly, but I wouldn't really be interested.
