I don't really know. I pretty much only have time to watch Nets games, and some Knicks games.
Here's a start...
If the Mavericks could add Jason Kidd to their roster without giving up Devin Harris, it would obviously be ideal. The Nets, however, will not let Kidd go for anything less than a package deal that includes Harris, which means Harris will stay in Dallas. And that's good for the Mavericks for a number of reasons:
1. Speed Harris is one of the quickest, fastest point guards -- capable of beating teams down court on one-man breaks -- and has become an excellent finisher.
2. Shooting Harris is one of the most accurate-shooting point guards from the field. He makes 48.3 percent of his shots, sixth best among point guards.
3. Defense Mavs owner Mark Cuban says Harris is the best defensive point guard in the league, and no one has argued that point.
