Because they want to remember their last winning game before they start their losing fest.

Kidd, Allen and Wright are probably already in Dallas.

After every open layup the Nets give him he's yelling in the face of a Nets player... Wow I seriously have a newfound dislike for the guy, a little class would be nice. If he's still angry about getting abused by Kidd in the playoffs I understand but the only other player in the league who plays with as much fake toughness as Calderon is KG, but at least KG does have some actual toughness in him...

Just scanning this thread and I read this. You know for a fact that both Kidd and Williams got schooled BADLY against Ford/Calderon in the playoffs. Don't try to pick a fight here when you have no base except ignorance in your claim.

I remember someone averaging a triple double and that wasn't a Raptor player .

Sadly he's no Nets anymore but as if remember right also no Raptor .

BTW: The 3 players are in Toronto but not dressed .

I'm talking on the defensive end. Kidd could not stay in front of Ford/Calderon at all.

The Nets strategy was to make the Raptors point guards shooters by going under any screen. It worked perfectly.

TJ Ford's tunnel vision got the best of him and he became a scorer, forgetting about his teammates and content with not running any sort of offense.

The strategy also ended up working out better than expected on Calderon.

Where you really saw the effects of it was in end game situations where Ford and Calderon thought they could do it all and consistently failed when it mattered the most.

To their credit Chris Bosh just failed all series long.

You can make all the fat jokes about Collins but right now, (looking at Bosh's play here compared to what he played in the playoffs), Collins looks like a stud.

I mean, talk about being kyptonite.

And wtf Devean George. You're a scrub. Man you know what just buy that f\_/cker out too.

This revised trade works. Although I wonder if the Mavs will part with Barea.

I doubt the Mavs would let Barea get in the way of Kidd.

Hopefully. They keep saying that they don't want to cut their entire team to get Kidd though, Armstrong is probably the better third string point guard though...

ugly game for the Nets but expected as much. The Nets success the last few games was their defense and there was none of that today & you can't win doing that against an excellent passing team like the Raptors.

Calderon was great & killed the Nets again. He was just playing w/ Marcus.

Props to Darrell and the twelve cups of coffee he drank this morning. He was one of the few bright spots today.

It would have been interesting to see Magloire there too..the Toronto crowd might have lost their collective lungs w/ all the booing.

All-Star break and rest needed badly. After the trade gets fixed up it will be interesting to see if Thorn has any more with one week to go & also how this new team will look post AS break.

I'm really afraid Boone's production w/o Kidd is going to drop significantly. I think RJ can still adjust but Boone....and ZERO REBOUNDS for Boone while Bosh is killin ya is just awful...you're better than that !

Everything you spew on RealGM is anti-Raptor, and I am sick to death of it.

You are now one of only three people in over three years to be added to my ignore list. Goodbye!
