2/13 Game Discussion: Ginobili Goes Off Against Cavs

Post#1 » by Kosta » Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:26 am

This guy is ridiculous...

46 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, 1 block on 15-20 shooting and 8-11 from downtown.

This guy could be a superstar if he was a number 1 option on any other team...

Now I don't now how Ginobli wasn't an all-star even out West. I'd take him over Roy, easily.

Realized that we didn't have a nightly game discussion thread...hope you don't mind re-purposing this one, Kosta.

The guy is an absolute stud.

Ginobili is amazing. He really doesn't get the credit he deserves; prior to tonight's game, his 36 min. stats were 22.7/5.9/5.3, and he has carried them to victory in back-to-back games...and considering the state of the Western Conference, those two victories could be difference between 3rd and 7th.

No prob Schad, good idea.

ATL/Charlotte going into O.T...

Milwaukee was rumored to have had a team meeting last night, it supposedly got heated, at one point Mo Williams stood up and told Andrew Bogut to "shut the hell up".

Looks like it woke them up, they're up 3 against the Hornets right now...

Deaven George is playing tonight for Dallas, he actually started and he's 0-6 from the floor with 2 assists in 17 minutes.

Why would the Mavs start him after this whole ordeal? That's odd. Even Diop is playing.

Lamar Odom has put up impressive numbers since Gasol arrived.

He has a triple double tonight, 10 points, 16 boards and 10 assists.

I was wrong about this guy, I wasn't sold on how effective he could be playing a 3/4 option, but he's been terrific.

The Lakers are dangerous at every position. When Bynum gets back, forget about it..

7th and 8th in the conference continue to dive...New Jersey loses, Atlanta loses again, and Indy loses once more. Philly wins, and might have a decent shot at the playoffs.

Meanwhile, we're back within half a game of Cleveland for 4th; unless Orlando falters in a big way, home court and a first round date with LeBron would seem to be our focus over the final 31 games.

Ron Artest is completely dominating the Rockets game.

Rockets have only scored 7 points in the 4th.

Rockets held on to win. Novak with the game winner. It would've been a terrible loss for the Rockets if the lost. Nobody on their team could score at all while Artest was having his way.

Exciting game, Suns/Warriors battling it out. Grant Hill with 24-13 so far, under 10 to go in the 4th, 95-93 PHX.
