Our announcers were asking why the T-wolves don't play Gerald Green. He's a young guy that can get minutes in a game like this. Why not play him?

Because if Gerald Green were playing, the Wolves would be down 40 instead of 23.

Ouch. Is he really that bad? I figure he could at least play to get his value up in a trade.

Yes, it is that bad. Gerald did get minutes for a 5 or 6 game stretch a few weeks ago, presumably to drive up value, and that backfired. He was awful. Bad shots early in the shot clock. Horrible defense - always lost, no idea what he should be doing. Poor handling, bad passing the few times he tried to pass. He got minutes when Toronto was way up a few nights ago in the 4th, and as soon as he went in Kapono went off for like 12 straight points.

That's pretty bad. I guess he's just another Slam Dunk Champ who just became another chump in this league.

Thanks for the info. I knew the T-wolves didn't extend him but didn't know why.

Meh, can't blame the refs for most of this. Wolves are just sucking.

He still has a ton of athletic potential, and he's got a nice stroke although his shot is streaky. Most people here probably think I'm a little harsh on him, I just subscribe to the school of thought that players who make mistake after mistake you shouldn't get minutes. Some day Gerald might "get it" and become a star, but that day is not directly around the corner.

Right there, Gerald didn't even look to pass. Forced up a heavily contested shot with 10+ on the shot clock.
